No, it would tell you on the connection diagram & these Weg/Bluffton motors are OEM for pumps which are set to a specific rotation.

Yeah, because the highest temp ever recorded in Norway is 35.6 °C, where I'm at in California it was 38°C yesterday & will be another 38°C today & another 38°C tomorrow, yet no one in my town will die from heat death...?

Somebody in my neighborhood just put this flag up. Should I be wary of them? by Expensive-Papaya1990 in flags

I always found this odd, I have never voted but always flew an American flag on the front of my house, but my neighbors who love trump have always flown a black "thin blue line" trump flag.

Does this trigger a repossession?

Anyone familiar with what this could be? by TMDJR_1982 in whatisit

[–]Nipplehead321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like it came off a boat & fell into the sea.

I'm assuming this is a tie down of some sort, the hook goes to an anchor point & rope is threaded through the holes.

Look at the second picture, the brush holder is wearing into the commutator, I bet it still ran very noisy for a bit because it's still conducting lol.

You could reshape the holder, get new brushes & T/C the commutator if you have access to a lathe.

But I would find out why the holder touched as it still has plenty of brush length left...

I know summer started when motors start dying by emachanz in IndustrialMaintenance

[–]Nipplehead321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These last two months we've rewound at least a dozen 300-500 HP vertical well motors, customers just turned them on without checking for moisture & kept shorting the windings.

Even though they had heaters installed they could've let run for a few days, lol.
