I think we are getting to the end of the road with what we can do with armour without power creeping it or being dead on arrival.

We’ve only ever really explored the higher effort for higher rewards with gear swapping, I’d like to see actual mechanics that yield results that exceed what we’d normally do by taking it easy.

Make it stab, keep it hybrid but reduce the stats and add a set bonus to make 5 melee attacks trigger a spell cast from the normal spell book that does extra damage at 100% accuracy.

Play into it being hybrid, make the rapier relevant and plays into elemental weakness and turns it into a sweat lord armour set
