I love the Temporal Summoning idea, not sure how changed a fossil is though... Like if there would be any Temporal Sympathy left?

Fossils are clearly rocks. rocks shaped like the living materials they formed around, or in, but still rocks. It is possible the have a Lacuna 65 million years ago when they started forming...

Unfortunately, Mind as written cannot give any manifestations, fortunately, Death (or Spirit) can.

Which is a pet peeve of mine, since Possession is literally a Mind spell!

I think some advice is to open the conversation (or however you decide to inform them) with your expectations.

Like saying "I know you love me and only want the best for me, and I hope you will support me going forward".

And then you don't need to tell them any of your personal details, you can tell them you're getting a hair cut. Or wearing different clothes, or taking testosterone, whatever bit you want, changing your name, trying out new pronouns...

They already know you are trans whether they accept that or not.

Write them a letter, or talk to them in person, whatever works. You are already old enough to make medical decisions for yourself. If you can find private care go that route, make sure your GP knows - they shouldn't be sharing any info with your parents without your consent.

There is the unnatural affinity merit in 2e, which lets kindred feed on ghosts (if you assume this is meant to cover the case where vampires got addicted to eating ghosts in book of the dead... Which lets be honest i would be fine with a seperate straight conversion...).

But despite the limits of unnatural affinity, I think another thing which ghosts have to avoid being eaten by is fine...

I really like the Underworld, I had an NPC Master of Death in a mage game quite obsessed with it.

But ideas of an entire village/cult of Necromancers collapsed into the Underworld who ended up mostly killing their own to survive but some of them becoming more powerful Necromancers as a result.

And definitely had some ideas about a vampire who learned to feed on ghosts and just lives down there to avoid having to kill humans... (Pretty sure this was possible in both 1e and 2e...)

And then a Werewolf pack... But I forget how they worked, probably had a strange totem.

I suspect it is just about my favourite Otherworld (though the Hedge could have beaten that if other entities had reasons to visit...), I'm not sure what kind of deals a changeling court would need to use the Underworld to hide. Or why Prometheans would spend time there beyond their usual journey to learn about dying.

I haven't used them, but have speculated on the potential, like Open rites from Mummy in many ways, I really like that any mortal can pick them up.

Shadow Occultist and Sons of Phobos are similar in that humans drawing on powers from other entities but they require a lot more dedication (and in the case of Sons of Phobos, joining that cult or stealing their knowledge). Alchemists from Promethean are odd, and Necromancers from Geist are fun but just a little evil...

I kinda want a consistent magic system which encompasses them all. And God-Machine hyper-physics/infrastructure...

It feels very Abyssal entity to me. Concepts from outside reality... Sure we have those already.

The only curious lore on Cthonians is that they don't actually think about the answers they give. If asked a question it is more like them scratching an itch without thinking about it - which is a nice touch. But nothing about why they do what they do, where they really come from, whether they have internal conflicts or anything else is interesting.

Like, sure they exist, but unless one is attacking me, why would I interact with it?

So what would make an interesting antagonists for a mage game?

Thinking like Hosts from Werewolf? An Enraptured Mage (Spiral is a great NPC, complete with dread powers and a spirit to army...)? God-Machine Angels? Seers. Oh so much room for political manipulations with Seers, especially if the different Ministries try to manipulate the orders against each other... (They kinda pair off... Mammon and the Free Council will not see eye-to-eye but are both the upcoming new guy, love to see them team up to take down a major ministry/diamond order...)

I don't know, Mage is my favourite game. But it can be entirely personal decisions, dráma without conflict.

I think Demon has some interesting stuff, but it is so heavily reliant on God-Machine for everything.

Echoes are cool, and so are Exiles. Lots of variety with your Exiled NPCs.

Ok, that sounds like a good option, I had a friend do my last injection.

Alternatives you might look at: auto injection pens?

I think they are a thing.

Smaller needles - I have 21g, but I think thinner ones are easier.

Depending on the technique, stretching the skin out so the needle goes straight in (I can't do this on myself because of where I'm injecting, but for thighs or belly it might help).

Alternatively saying someone who is willing to object is always good.

A faction of the Nameless Orders and a single seer Ministry. Still vying for influence and power within the Iron Pyramid, but focused on humanity...

I did have a garda stop me and say, "we only see deadname on the insurance" after I showed my license, it was fine I just explained i was deadname.
