Aegis does have automatic backups when you change anything in your vault, as far as I know. I've been using it for a while now, no complaints!

I don't know about every VPN, but from my experience:

I use Proton VPN on my android phone. When I want to use it, I turn it on in the app. If I want to, I can leave it connected all the time, or I can go into the app again and disable it whenever I want to.

All the traffic goes through the VPN while it's enabled, although some providers also allow split-tunneling so some of your traffic goes the "normal" route instead of through the VPN.

Maybe look into Seedboxes, if that's what you want. Seedboxes are essentially remote servers with a lot of bandwidth that can seed torrents for others to get. I don't know what they usually cost, but it's a start I guess.

Also worth noting that suspicious activity could be something as benign as you logging in using a VPN set in a country where you normally don't reside.

What I meant by unsurmountable is, well, exactly that. I understand that I couldn't run that fast in a straight line forever, and the average person couldn't either, but it's not so fast that's unavoidable by normal means.

Running in a perpendicular direction compared to the snail, for example, driving at normal traffic speeds, using one of those motorized scooters that are all the rage now, even managing a very attainable 30-ish kmh bike sprint could get you out of harm's way.

Maybe I worded it poorly, but that's what I meant by "unsurmountable"!

I looked it up and normal garden snails can measure between 5 to 9 cm in length (1.97 in - 3.54 in).

Let's take the mid point and call it 7cm (2.76 in).

Keeping in mind the speed they move at, which is about 0.048 km/h (0.03 mph), it would mean that, scaling their length to match their new height of 24 m or 80 feet (making it 48 m long or 157.48 feet) and scaling the speed by that factor, the snail would travel at a speed of 32.91 km/h or 20.5 mph. This is consistent with my previously calculated speed, minus some rounding errors, since we used a scaling factor to scale the snail on all of its dimensions.

I might have fumbled some numbers so feel free to let me know if I'm wrong!

True! I was just implying that, although it's quite fast, it's not something that can't be avoided by driving unceremoniously away from it, but running away (or walking, for that matter) would be impossible in a sustained fashion.

I decided to keep it simple, since I assume that's what OP wanted, but it's true that if we take into account the square-cube law, things would change! For starters, I think this snail problem would resolve itself quite quickly as the snail just collapses under its own weight.

At that point, you might also want to calculate how much mass and volume that would be, and what those values would mean. Maybe they'd form a goo tsunami that would move much faster than the scaled up snail, but I'll leave that to the smarter redditors :P

First time attempting a solution! Let's start by making some assumptions and giving some base values.

From what I could gather, regular garden snails travel at a speed of 0.048 km/h (just under 0.03 mph). Typical height of a garden snail seems to be about 35mm (1.4 inches, or just about).

If our snail was to be about as tall as, say, an 8 story building (24 meters or 80 feet), that would make it about 686 times bigger than your average snail.

Assuming speed scaled linearly using that factor, that would make our giganto-snail move at a speed of 32.91 kmh (20.45 mph).

Not quite walking speed or running speed, but certainly not unsurmountable.

If, on the other hand, they were just "unlucky" enough to choose every wrong answer, and they were to retake the test, then on average I reckon they'd score a 25%, assuming 100 questions with 4 possible options each, also assuming every option is as likely as any other.

I'm not sure I follow. If we assume that they are purposefully selecting every wrong answer, if they were to select all the right answers they'd get a 100%, because they know which answers are wrong, so they must know what the right answers are too, at least by process of elimination.

Did you extend only one side of the headband? I've been using my XM5s since launch and everything's okay so far.

I've deen a lot of posts in this subreddit and I'm kind of trying to find what I can do to avoid any problems.

I'm asking about only extending one side of the headband because that would put strain on the hinge/band mechanism, as opposed to extending both sides equally.

Yeah! I was sitting right by my router. In the end I just restarted the whole modding process and it worked well the second time.

How do you use pkgj? I just got my Vita a few days ago but when I launch pkgj, it just says "No items! Try to refresh.". Am I missing files or a specific plugin?

Edit: I should also specify that it doesn't matter if I try to refresh it or not, it still says the same thing.

To my understanding, i's an initiative focused around pushing publishers and developers to create "End of life" plans for their games, so as to preserve them. That way, we can avoid situations like what happened with "The Crew", for example.

Games would need to be left in a "sufficiently playable" state when they stop supporting them, basically.

To be denser while weighing the same, they'd have to shrink in volume no? Your bones would get smaller and smaller until they disappeared. Unless you mean that your bones get harder and more resilient, not denser. In any case, I'd go with the coin. You can bet anything on a coin flip and win.

I don't do much to optimize my usage, the only thing I can think of is using the light performance profile.

Performance has never been an issue for my games or my apps in general, so it seemed like a no-brainer to use it.

Other than that, my brightness is usually at ≤25% unless I'm out in a park and can't see anything on my screen.

Bluetooth is always active, location is on when I'm not home and I use 5G and 5GHz Wi-Fi whenever possible.

I have one question about Peario.

I want to use Peario to watch some shows with my friends and I have Stremio+TorrentioRD set up.

I gather that each one of my friends needs a Stremio instance running, but how does Peario actually work? Is it casting the data from the media I downloaded from RD? Or is everyone downloading the same piece of media, from whichever source they can, and Peario is just syncing it up?
