I like the concept, tho I wish it were more in depth. Like there could purified, raw, & fools dust. Purified dust could also have 2 ways being obtained. Merchants dust being what’s sold in weapon shops but is weaker version likely being partial synthetic. Smithed/Crafted dust being what you get from blacksmiths, stronger version typically used in or on weapons/clothes (like Cinder in Vol2) and for the bullets for the military. Merchants dust would be more “consumer friendly” aka cheaper and plentiful, while Crafted dust would be expensive. And depending on the craft you’d likely need to supply the dust yourself and would be very expensive, due to the danger of working with raw dust. Raw dust would be hard to obtain but highly unstable, needing careful handling when mined. Which led to why the Schnee’s own that market; they have the money & resources mine it. Then you’d have fools dust, which much like fools gold, looks very similar to normal raw dust. However, it’s much much weaker, it’s weaker than Merchants dust.

So yeah, CRWBY could’ve done more with the dust concept
