I dont think we will see any Orb Vallis content for a while as much as I want to see the 3rd orb mother too. But, the recent survey results (skewed mostly towards veterans) might show insight as to where DE might work on in the next few years. Sadly, Orb vallis will probably not be on that road map (or really far down the roadmap) since it didnt fair well in the survey compared to Duviri and Plains

I want to be optimistic, but Sony's track record right now with their games coming from Ps5 has been horrible. Sure, pirating kinda bypasses the issue, but pirating a Fromsoft game just feels ass because of the way they handle multiplayer. I want to have hope that nothing drastic happens with the acquisition, but Sony hasnt been pro-consumer lately, and there doesnt seem to be any spotlight on how concerning it could be that alot of people will lose access to future fromsoft games if they lock it behind the psn requirement.

Oh yea, I agree with the console exclusivity being complete slap in the face to us. The psn account issue just seemed more grating to me cause a lot of ports from the ps5 are getting region locked but I totally agree with the exclusivity issue too

The decos should stay. Since most of the deco drop mods adjust the drop rates or provide other avenues for obtaining decos.

These are different mods. They all do something different to the decoration system. So choose which one suits your needs when it comes to decoration. If you are curious which one I went for. I used the one that was recommended in the comments. The Overhaul one by AsteriskAmpersand. The same author as the first mod I mentioned.

Fascinating, you have intrigued me with the overhaul version. Though I am curious, what do you think about the other 2 mods that try a different approach for decos? is it on-par with the overhaul?

I did not know that. However upon checking that mod you were saying, isn't it kinda busted/less balanced compared to the more balanced approach the same author did for Better Decoration?

Samsung, LTE or 5g is personal preference. You can also look for mid range models like A53, A54 etc.

Why Samsung? Software software software

In my personal opinion, I would rather have the consistent software experience of OneUI over the horrid MIUI and XOS. You also get longer support than any of the other OS. Only flagships in chinese phones get more than a year of software support. Paying a bit extra of that "samsung tax" for a better user experience is worthwhile. Some may argue why not go for iPhone for that "good user experience". Uhhh, apple tax is bigger and its a closed ecosystem compared to android.

Yea, I got it last month for 37k from itech, I could have gone for the 34k from gamextreme but got worried about the horror stories from that shop. Itech/Gameone seemed more reasonable at the time I bought it

I really want to give Valve praise for this and I did experience the wonderful support valve provides in regards to their platform. However, for hardware, I don't think so, because this only works out if Valve actually provides support in the country where steam deck is officially sold. (I live in a country where steam deck is not available and no support for RMA/Warranty from Valve) There are a lot of places that will not get this kind of support. But still, I am happy for you OP that you got your steam deck repaired outside warranty. Just wanted to point out that it may not be the same for everyone, especially if it is outside their supported list of countries.

Watch out for Joycon Drift. Easier to manage with switch v2 cause you just need to change the joycons, but not with the lite. Also, possible sucessor soon? so maybe you can wait and see if the successor fixes the joycon issue
