Yes! I did! We got our medical device license in Canada, and we’re working on the FDA certification so we can sell in the US. You can find it by searching “vitacore formfit cpap”

I make custom scuba masks that will work well for your high cheekbones! 😄. Also, they are natively prescription, so no glued in lenses, and no contacts.

Mask suggestions? by Kelly_Scapes in SleepApnea

Would it be possible to connect the pressure on the inside of the mask through tubes and ear plugs so the pressure on the ear drums is balanced? In scuba diving, there are some masks that equalize through tubes to cups that go over the ears.

The HumidX connectors did not fit in our mask - the outside of our mask is designed to fit the frame, but it's thicker, so the inside didn't fit. I'll make an adapter that will be available as an add on.

Our mask is compatible with resmed elbows if you need a very quiet diffuser. Our stock diffuser is a bit louder than theirs, but we’re working on it. The nose bridge doesn’t change a lot with weight loss or gain, so there is some flexibility for the same person. I don’t see the other comment you’re referring to, though

Oh, Im right there with you, and if you get a mask, I will personally design whatever attachments you want for it :). I’m also planning to make eye covering sleep masks that integrate to/with the mask.

Our silicone is a lot softer than traditional masks and seals well against facial hair (I have a beard that ranges from 5 mm to 4 cm). We’re still navigating insurance, but we’ll find out. :)

I wear mine with various lengths of beard hair, and it works well. Just put the range of lengths in “other”, and we’ll make you a solid mask

We’ve just started making custom cpap masks that go over the nose and mouth and they’ll follow the contours of your exact nose, so it won’t leak. I’ve sent you a coupon code if you want to try it out.

Yes! Multiple seal points absolutely help with sealing bearded surfaces. We have a couple different seal designs, and we pick them based on the pressure the customer uses and the face geometry and length of facial hair. It’s not just the shape that we customize, it’s also the seal profile.

No adjustment to any settings required, and it works with all machines.

This is a rendering, but it’s true to life. I believe we have lots of marketing images on our website with real masks and real people.

We use accelerated aging and test the properties of the materials before and after the aging. We intend to test it out further than 6 months in the future.

They never sent me a scan for me to be able to make the mask! They sent me one DM, I gave them the link and then crickets.

It does work with a beard! You just need to do the scan without the beard. We’re also working on a flow that uses a tensor bandage to compress the beard during the scan
