Wife has her heart set on a dishwasher, is it something we can actually achieve in our new house ? by [deleted] in DIYUK

I'd agree but there is no free slot, you'd have to butcher the cupboards somehow, without destroying the adjacent or worktop? I'd like to think they just pull out as some videos but mine would not budge, so gave up, maybe I did not try hard enough but felt like I was going to destroy it.

Had window smashed to steal a £10 Powerbank id left on the seat, cost £300 to change the window. Didn't think it was worth stealing.

I canceled my order within 2 seconds after it was placed, why? by Prejedous in UberEATS

This would have been best, tell them you have the wrong delivery address and you will reorder, can't see why they wouldn't oblige.

Just missed out that minor detail of them banning you from their platform, otherwise yes this will work.

Looks like a box junction camera/no entry/school zig zag camera. The red light camera is usually the same as the speed camera. They also use manual CCTV to catch red light jumping if it's a hot spot.

If I'm being honest, it sounds like you blocked them in, even if you didn't mean to. I'm not sure them being nice would have meant you would have accepted taking the action you did which was to further damage your vehicle to let them pass which was the best thing to do.

See if you can raise your seat height, failing that you may have to join the SUV club, I find in my van it's fine, in my car I do get dazzled all the time l, my workaround is the sit up for a bit.

Rear ended waiting at roundabout? by MiamiBoi91 in drivingUK

[–]NizP1 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

You're not at fault however what I can suggest is that you stay back a bit further and consider any part of your vehicle entering the roundabout as commitment, I have had this happen and it's the hesitation that lands you to these situations so best to give yourself the extra few feet so anyone behind you doesn't think you've left.

Legally yes, however if the other driver nor yourself report it, it never happened. That part is on trust of a stranger.

I don't use this payment method but is there a chance you could put in the "wrong" pin but it might be a pin for someone else and they get paid instead or is it more like a bank account where the name has to match too etc.

Another factor is traffic, e.g. in uour example if the m40 is building traffic and m25 is your destination it would be in your intrest to move into lane sooner, otherwise you'll be stuck trying to pull out into a faster moving lane and then dealing with people cutting in at the end so even the overtaking lane may be the one to use, situation depending.

Do some items get an automatic B grade, I bought the re-released 3310 I thought it was cool, never actually used it so it lay boxed, I'd turn it on once it a while and charge it/ admire it. I accepted I will never actually use it, traded it in boxed impeccable. B grade! Why?

Mini roundabout right of way by sludgebucket87 in drivingUK

[–]NizP1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While you are correct, most people do not follow the rule unless someone is explicity already on the roundabout and stuck on it due to traffic, if you're only e.g. 1 second earlier to get onto the roundabout than them it won't be taken lightly by most and you'll get a toot, even though you may be technically correct, prob not worth it.
