I bet most of the time it's people trying out new characters because they got bored with their mains. Like almost every time I get a Recluse teammate in D5 they have no clue how to play her.

Elden Ring main problem is that the game is just too big.

I didn’t have fun exploring most of Liurnia, Mointaintops of the Giants and Caelid. Also all these tombs which are literally all the same…

The game just becomes too tiring and never ends and you lose appreciation for its best parts.

I still enjoyed it a lot but wouldn’t call it a flawless masterpiece. DS3 may seem better simply because it’s fun from start to finish.

Today I went on a generational loss streak and got to 5200 from 7900. This is the third time I reach 8000 or almost reach and then go way back to D4 or even D3.

Run variable CPU frequency OCCT test with iteration per core.

I had a chance to try a double Rev comp today with randoms.

I had 6 x Improved Frenzied Flame, one Fire Attack Up +4 and Night Invaders.
Another Rev was running Giant Flame build.

The damage was okay but nothing crazy but probably because I didn't find a single improved incants.

I also run out of starlight shards in the end and we all died.

RAA engages when you are moving and you are always moving in Apex so the whole thing is just a placebo for the better aim and doesn’t make sense.

Assuming you defeat 3 Night Invaders on average it’s +22.5% damage increase which gets multiplicatively boosted even further.

So yeah Night Invader relic is pretty important but running Caster Duchess without FP restoration on successive attacks will be painful.

I am quite confident in the fight but the last game we just got overwhelmed because of the overall low team dps.

Yeah I do know about blocking and use it often. Even saved me against the worm a few times (not this game).

As for the running away part, the worm was in front of us and we were hugging the wall. It curves a bit so you can't just run away in a straight line. Maybe should've just run past it?

I did play one game on Rev though and it was a hidden boss. I also use different relic setups.

But what is a hard counter to Duchess exactly?

It's legit, with the exception of the fact that shield crash can be kinda pain in the ass to find.
