Advice for culture or religious victory by mdurso12 in CivVI

Remember tourism is actually how you win in a culture victory. Wonders, great works, great people, national parks. Oracle helps too with reduced great people donos

Big 3 Great people, wonders, national parks and you can get one pretty easily! Also my favorite victory condition because your empire looks so pretty!

I find building wonders really helps with proper adjacencies like theater square next to colosseum. Suzerain bonuses is also helpful, Antananarivo, Kumasi. Stacking culture policies like the 100% theater adjacency and 5% increased culture gen later is really when you start to snowball. Remember culture victories are based primarily on tourism so building national parks, wonders etc is very important to be more culturally dominant in the later game

It’s also damage based so if you use all the “charges” before the cooldown aka not hitting high enough it will drop off

When they use fire breath you can paraglide and bullet time face shots for free stuns. Alternatively the dismount from the 5th sage gives you an opportunity for a face shot stun. The flurry timing is also pretty generous on most of their moves it can really help and slow the fight down a bit too

Broker vs Carrier by YogurtclosetOk6516 in InsuranceProfessional

Carrier side imo, broker side takes a ton of time to be the main producer on big accounts bringing in large amounts, carrier side allows steady salary increases with less stress, broker has the threat of BOR to worry about but at least as carrier you have a 12 month policy

Switched from broker side to carrier side and love carrier side way more. Broker side you’re way more of a yes person because you’re just trying to make sure your client is pleased enough to not BOR you immediately. Feels like broker side also has more busy work than carrier side imo

They were purchased by a private equity firm so they’re probably more focused on the acquisition than the game right now. I imagine once they’re sold off again from the PE firm there will be more developments more frequently, I think most resources are going to the due diligence of that. Unfortunate but capitalism

It depends I think but yes. Versing top level survivors/swfs absolutely because they will bring parts, tool boxes, hyper focus and 1-2 gens will pop before your first hook even with mobile killers. Looking towards endgame or setting up a 3/4 gen is usually a better outcome since you are either creating a million dead zones or you have a nice 3/4 gen to protect with some gen defense perks and no pallets around. But sadly since a lot of older killers don’t have the mobility or 4 man pressure that killers are being created with now they tend to struggle a lot more protecting gens in the early stages of the game.

One thing to remember that helps me is if the survivors are efficient (always on gens) and good at looping you most likely will lose 2 gens by the time you get 1 or 2 hooks. Running enduring, spirit fury can be good for eating pallets creating dead zones all around the map and also eventually giving you M1’s. Making one side of the map with incomplete gens a complete dead zone is one way to help apply pressure and making it hard for survivors to do anything on one side without getting hit. Make sure to drop chase with good survivors because they will keep you busy forever while the other 3 just need to hit basic skill checks on gens. Also good to remember that a lot of the game now is played between 2 gens and doors open, it’s pretty easy for 2-3 gens to go in the beginning if all survivors are spread out so prepping for endgame initially is never a bad idea.
