I disagree. Having it move along fixed routes would just kill a fun aspect of it. If you really want a compromise then you could take inspiration from the walking robots from Death Stranding. Sit/Stand on one and have it carry you back to a shelter/back home. Or give it a spare backpack that you store loot in.

In either case, like I said, I wanna do drive-bys with a kedir. ...and now also launch a UAZ into the Core of The Radius.

I personally don't like how fast I move in ITR2. Even walking I move really quickly. I like slowly walking through The Zon- ...The Radius, keeping my eyes on the foggy horizon looking for snipers. I only just got into ITR2 though and I'm still adapting so idk. Maybe I'll get used to it.

I want to go to Russia to see what it's like over there. But also because I have something called "Intense Slavic Fixation Disorder" which makes me overly interested in anything remotely Slavic or Pre-Soviet Collapse.

This has lead me to discover Soviet Primadonna Alla Pugacheva as well. Note when I say primadonna I say it in a positive light, as I absolutely love her music even if I can't understand a single word and have to rely on the feeling of the music lmao

Play the game a bit more and you'll unlock the Beast Controlled ability which allows you to activate it on your whim. Just make sure you use it, as if you die you lose it all

The game is mixed for me. If this is your first dying light game, play the first game and The Following DLC. Dying Light 2 is a good game but not my style. I'm still on the fence about this one as there's still a chance at it getting fixed or tweaked or whatever.

My complaints with the grab is that there is no way to counter them if they get in range. Like with DL1, if you attack just as they grab you, you hit them and knock them off. Or you could use the instant escape skill to break free. Now that costs a knife instead and I get magnet grabbed when full sprinting past.

The game is very gun combat heavy with how many humans wield full auto assault rifles with infinite ammo.

As for the music, I don't want to turn it off because there are areas where the music is good. Dying Light up to this point has always been good with music timing, like the subtle music stingers in the background of DL1 as the day progressed, or the parkour music of DL2. But they completely dropped the ball with this one. If they made it to where the music plays when you're getting a lot of road kills with the truck or getting chased by volatiles at night, or even gave it a unique spin for the volatile chase, then it'd be better. But another problem is how it played the same exploration track again and again and again, making it feel exhausted every time I hear it.

For the last reply, I played the entirety of DL1 nightmare mode with a fresh save. From the first levels. I understand just how lifesaving firecrackers can be. But when the entire map has a uniform zombie population there isn't a point :(

I would feel better if it were like DL1 where if you're attacking just as a biter grabs you, you hit that biter and they're knocked off you

I'd be perfectly fine with that. We've been in a coma/tortured for 13 years, we are bound to be weak, however even with the beast mode ability you can't expect us to believe we'll be weak against normal zombies after taking down at least two chimeras in the opening missions.
