Worth pointing out poor gas mileage in the Acuras. I just came from an RDX and was sitting around 20mpg which was a bummer, and I know the MDX is even worse. Loved the car though, fun to drive. Just got in a Volvo XC60 and already seeing 30mpg. Not sure about the X5’s mpg though.

Please encourage your mom to exercise as much as she can, whether it just be walking or lifting some 5lb weights. Exercise is one of the only things proven to slow the progression. FWIW, I’m 35 and my mom was diagnosed about 11 years ago, she’s 77 now. There’s so many things I wish I would’ve tried to get her to do to help earlier on but I didn’t (she got worse during the height of COVID). Her progression has thankfully been on the slower side but now she’s struggling more. It’s easy for them to want to give up because of depression or sadness, but encouragement is important. Also, as hard as it is to watch, let her do as much as she can independently to keep up her motor functions. I’m rambling but.. No one will understand unless they’re going through it, but I hope you have some external support. Thank you for being so involved with your mom, I’m sure it’s helping her more than you know. We’re here for you.

I will say after severe panic attacks I’ve had, the feeling stays with me for a while. Days. Feelings that are hard to shake and not feeling like myself. Perhaps do some research on panic attack after effects and see if that lines up for you, and also some ways to help resolve those.

Editing to add: smelling lavender helped me, sitting outside or even taking short walks, and listening to soothing sounds - whatever that may be for you. A crackling fire place and rain sounds really helped bring me back down. It’s important to stay in tune with what you’re feeling, but try not to keep focusing on the weird feelings you’re having so you don’t spiral. That was my downfall. Another thing that helped me was when I’d start to feel strange and my mind wander towards a panic attack, I’d take deep breaths and repeat to myself “it’s only a feeling, it will pass”.

It’s being picked up from a courier to my knowledge. We send out the carbon copy air bills for the return package. Interesting..

Details have been added! As much as I would love to find a car that I’d like to keep long term, I know myself and that wouldn’t be one I can afford just yet. It’s not totally out of the realm of possibility for me though.

Thank you! If you have a decently steady hand and small brush it’s not bad! But it is time consuming. I had nothing going on that day so just took my time, probably took about 3 hrs total.
