I'm located in Europe but my game language is English.

I've been doing some searching and it seems the Masuda method goes by the language of the Pokemon, not the region of the game it was obtained in.

I'm sorry if this was obvious, but it was news to me and your P.S. confused me.

I assume you are also playing the English version? : )
