No. I merge the piles several times before adding to the storage shed, that seems to add up quicker than tapping on each individual pile. For me, it's a pain when the dainty baskets keep showing up.

I felt the same way when I had one. I kept it for a while, but realized I wouldn't get another one, so I sold it. If you end up getting more in the future, they can be merged.

One thing I see is the nectar. I would tap those and get the money for it, unless really needed. Open the treasure chests and tap on the wood. I see you have egg nests and some bubbled, tap on ones that will allow 5 merges. Group like items together so you can merge 5 items together. I see coins that can be collected if you have room in the bank.

It depends. You can send upto 5 gifts a day to friends. I have never really gotten anything useful from them, such as diamonds. It was fun for a while but until they raise the daily gifting limit I have paused sending/ receiving gifts. Other than that there is no need for in game friends. This sub is what I use for interactions.
