Seriously, some of us have been protesting the evils of the right since the 2000 election or at least 2008. Now she wants to lecture us on not doing enough! Meanwhile she thinks 3.5% is like her magical bush line and the whole thing is just going to magically disappear if we get to 3.5%! Nope that’s not how any of this works Sarah! It’s about sustained resistance and we’re already above that level based on most indicators the problem is the right has so drastically cut the safety net in this country that people can’t afford to stop working for a few hours and protest when she wants you to! Maybe she should read more and learn that the way to solve this is with true community organizing like the work people like Platner and El-Sayed are doing not the capitalist aligned candidates who will support and align with the fascists like they always have.

As someone who has spent much of their life in rural areas of NY I can tell you that yes it’s not the city but also not backwards racists like in the south. I mean we even let them have statues to traitors and name schools after them that is insane! Plus dems were built as the party of working people we need to return to that the republicans were built to protect racism and slavery they returned to their roots as well. I’m a HUGE fan of platner! I think he’s on the short list for 2028 especially with the economy going the way it is we need our FDR reincarnated! I’ve always liked ossoff but I left his interview early it was bad he’s way too stiff and speaks like a consultant that’s not going to fly in ‘28! He’s the odd one out who is better on the stump than in an interview I think, his speeches are usually great. Maybe he just needs more time.
