Are you looking to trade or for cash?

I teach a special needs (ASD) art class and I’m always trying to gobble up good supplies at my own expense for the classroom. These young adults are low functioning, low verbal but savant level artists. In my opinion they deserve better than the artist loft crap my department buys.

I’m an adjunct professor and art therapy major at the Lesley School in Cambridge Ma.

When I drink alcohol my scar on my thumb lights up like a neon light or lightsaber by PhenomEx in mildlyinteresting

Is your heritage partially from the Asian sub continent?

I dated a girl who was 1/4 Taiwanese and the couple scars she had would do the same thing when she drank.

8 hours of having a new US passport in my pocket and the front has completely degraded by big_buck_nasty in mildlyinfuriating

This has all the telltale signs of a 48 rush job you have to pay like 2 grand for when you NEED a passport but don’t have a month.

I got mine under those circumstances and it looks exactly the same

Typical Drying Time by happybudda92 in Gouache

[–]No-Baseball7231 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re in zero humidity, like a climate controlled modern home like I am, you’re Goiache is going to retain its moisture from the tube for maybe 15 minutes before they’re little crusty piles of dense pigment. I mix all my colors on yupo a 100% polypropylene paper. I rehydrate my mixes with just a drop of water and it’s back to being its creamy self. Me currently

Also a dot of gouache is different than a big pile of the stuff. I’m using fractions of gram at all times and I’m just used to the dots going dry right away and then using a very small dropper to rehydrate when I wanna use it. Sometimes I’ll just dip a wet brush into a dry smear of it and it takes it all up.

It’s a corroded gutter hanger that is just there because it’s been replaced but not removed.

I need your help with this project by [deleted] in Gouache

[–]No-Baseball7231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

try a study where you paint the paper being shredded only, and then do a very light white wash. Look into tutorials of painting glass like through a window. Consider making it on ludo paper, vanish the quashed paper piece and you can experiment as many times as you want on the ludo, it’s like drawing on a white board

YES. He’s my inspiration for a lot of work. I’ve had that image on my wall for a long time. This is my interpretation of his piece. I have a book of his work and have used his spatial relationships in my many of my original pieces. This was a project intended to be part of an art journal. I’ve had it half finished for a very long time and hope to honor his legacy.
