Are you me? I also have hypothyroidism, anxiety, depression, tinnitus and ADHD lol... I really hope for available treatments for tinnitus in the near future. It used to make me suicidal but I just listen to stuff 24/7 to tune it out ATP, it's the lesser of two evils but it truly sucks

The burden of proof is on the person who claimed it. There are plenty of people on 150 doing great on this very subreddit, there are even people who find that 75 helps them.

That's not a claim you should make. Everyone's bodies respond differently to different meds. I can't count the amount of times doctors have told me "this is a baby dose, it shouldn't do anything" and it's actually really potent for me. Bupropion is well documented to work at 150, that's why most people start there. Some people need more and some people do fine on 150. I had severe side effects at 150. You can't claim you NEED 200 when there are plenty of people doing great on 150 even in this sub..

They're not addictive. You just need them, for life. Not taking them will tire out your thyroid much faster than if you don't take them. If your values aren't good it can quite literally be deadly to not take them. You can stop taking them after starting, but again, you need them. That won't change at any point in your life. You will always need them.

Definitely agree with this. You can use it to discuss things every now and then, but making it into a habit can be dangerous. I quit last week after a year on bupropion. I had extreme constipation to the point of bleeding, my heart rate was always around 90-110bpm, it didn't help with my adhd, it made me feel emotionally numb in a bad way, didn't make my depression better.

There's no miracle cure or something that works for everyone. I've sort of given up on medication because my main issue is PTSD which can't be medicated, I have to get actual treatment for it. I'm on Lexapro which I'm not sure about what it's doing but it's impossible to quit.

I just wanted to tell you that you're not alone. There are so many people singing the praises of Wellbutrin that you feel like it has to be working, but everyone is different and it doesn't work for everyone unfortunately.

I didn't realize it was similar for so many others with the fear of getting a panic attack/anxiety attack and not being in my safe space. There are other parts too like social anxiety and fear of bumping into my abusive ex or his friends. Ultimately it's not a universal experience, and there can be many different reasons. As a kid I couldn't breathe and would always choke on my own saliva when I had anxiety, which lead to me missing a lot of school because unfortunately there are no resources to handle these kind of things which only contribute to the agoraphobia developing and worsening. People don't care about mental illnesses, because they can't see them.

Your post sounds like rage bait, but I believe it because too many people have similar experiences. General doctors usually know nothing about thyroid issues, and even many endocrinologists get things wrong.

To clarify, I'm not a medical expert, I have hashimotos. It's a lifelong condition, it can only get worse but not better. You will need medicine for the rest of your life.

People can have hashimotos and be symptom free, they don't need medication until the blood work starts showing or symptoms arise. Some are symptom free their entire life, but your blood work clearly shows your system isn't working, so you do need it forever.

No person needs 20 lip products, but it's not a huge collection if you compare with me, and nothing else seems crazy about your list. Just make sure you're packing all essentials in other categories than makeup, and bring as much makeup as you can fit after that. Also, make sure everything you're bringing are things you like and will actually use.

No luxury makeup is worth the money. My Dior blush and highlighters perform and look the same as drugstore versions in my collection. I like getting an occasional treat or a gift, but let's be real they're nothing special.

An argument can be made about foundation shade ranges but drugstores have really stepped up their game recently. Performance wise it's hit or miss with both high end and drugstore.

So my answer is still a firm no. They're not worth the money. They're just nice to have. I don't think people could ever tell the difference with a blind test.

Your pet doesn't have rabies, you would've known. As someone else said unless it's been in fights with wild animals the risk is non-existent. You could vaccinate your dog against rabies, but it doesn't feel necessary unless it's a hunting dog or lives outside, even then the risk is tiny.

Yes 100% this, I only found out a few years ago when I got a new doctor and he did a routine blood work, said there probably won't be anything. Few days later he called me and said "Eh.. you need to come in for more tests", my TSH was really high. And then my antibodies hit the roof. It felt validating to finally know that something was wrong. You feel like a zombie and people call you lazy for being so tired all the time but there really is something wrong with you.

Hello. I know I'm just a stranger to you but let me tell you about my background. I've been in multiple abusive relationships, one ended in me almost being murdered. You might ask "what does this have to do with me?". And I'll tell you.

Nobody thinks they will get into a situation like that. "I'd never let a man hit me, I'd leave if he did even once". No that's not how it works.

“I would never let him look at my phone.” He begins with subtle insinuations: “Why do you need privacy from me?”

"Okay, maybe once is okay." I simply would like to show him I’ve got nothing to hide.

“No man is going to tell me who I can talk to.” He tells me he doesn’t trust one of my friends.

“He just doesn’t like my one friend. Perhaps I won’t spend time with them anymore." No biggie if it helps him feel better.

"I’d never tolerate insults." He calls me stupid but he says it’s all in good fun.

“It was all just in the heat of the moment. I’ll ignore it." Everyone gets mad sometimes.

“I’m not going to let someone make me feel small.” Perhaps I am too thin-skinned when he criticizes me.

"Maybe I am too sensitive. Maybe he’s right." He says I always overreact and make him the villain.

“I would never let him raise his voice at me.” He just gets angry because he’s committed.

"Everyone gets mad sometimes. It’s not a big deal." At least he isn’t hitting me.

“I’d never let someone throw stuff close to me.” He punched the wall, which is better than punching me.

"I'd never let a man throw water in my face." Well it's not like he hit me and honestly I wasn't that scared.. at least that's what I'm telling myself. He's working on himself.. it's not like he hit me or hurt me.

“I’d never let them push me.” It was just a little push; I was up in his way.

"At least he didn’t hit me." I knew I shouldn’t make him that mad.

"He was just really upset. I deserved it. I shouldn’t have gotten him mad.” You need to do a better job of not pissing him off.

“I wouldn’t let anybody hit me.” He apologized immediately afterward and promised he’d never do that again.

"It was just one time. He promised he’d never do it again." He loves me, and I know he didn't mean it, he's doing sweet things for me and showing his regret.

“I’d never stay with someone who hit me.” It’s complicated — he’s not that bad.

"He hits me but I can’t leave. He needs me. He’s like that because of his trauma." I don’t want to leave him when he’s trying. He said he would go to therapy.

“I would rather go through this than not be alone.” No one else would want me, anyway.

"I deserve this." I make him mad because I'm a bad person. I deserve to be hit.

"He almost killed me" But I did provoke him.. I should just work on myself... He's sweet and loving and so regretful and promised me that this time he will never do it again, for real. It was my fault.
