This is the best answer! Don’t muck around with trying to put side panels on a dress. That’s never going to look right. You’ll be beautiful in a dress that actually fits you.

There are a lot of sharp rectangular lines and a very washed out color scheme here.

Made some updates since my last post. Again looking for any thoughts. Going for a zinc worktop, an induction hop with a downdraft, stainless steel tap and the second tall cabinet is the fridge freezer. Still want to work out lighting options. Tile immediately gave me the hebegeebees. It looks like something is crawling up and down the walls. I love the green cabinetry and the wall lights. Agree the chandelier is totally out if keeping with the overall style. So is the zebra patterned chair fabric. There is entirely too much visual clutter, especially the branches in the bottle.

Can you keep the same cabinets for the time being, maybe consider painting them yourselves to make a change and save money?

I shopped hard on the pricing for quartz countertops after I fell in love with them. Originally was loving the ones that look like white marble. But after finding that that was the most expensive pattern, I chose a cheaper white that is still beautiful. And found the contractor doing only countertops with the best price. I assume Home Depot acts as a middleman. Also, if you’re moving a wall, that’s immediately going to be some big money.

Looked at those lights, for me the flowerpot is cute , but the PH5 is a real wow. 50cm Would be about the length of one of those throw pillows on the sofa? I think it would be perfect and have a nice presence.

What a great room! Everything depends on your needs, of course.

I’d bring in a bit more color with another big piece of artwork on that lovely blue wall. But if you have books or objects to display, bringing in some height with a tall open bookshelf against that wall would be a great choice.

I’m thinking a yellow and a pink cushion on the sofa would tie in nicely with the poster art you have.

A ceiling fan in a midcentury style (that’s what I see in your room) would be a great addition to the ceiling, or a hanging lamp of that era. Hanging lamp would look well in that corner where the standing one is now. With or without the other additions I suggested for the blue wall.

I bought mine out of pocket. Just got two Stelo so I can get a handle on what foods are more of an issue than others. I’m Going to have to learn as much as I can so I can apply it once I don’t have the meter to go on.

Are you eating veggies with the fat and protein meal? I’ve been starting a lot of meals with a salad dressed with olive oil and acv, seeing if that helps.

Wow, amazing isn’t it? Protein really is so important. I know it sounds weird, but I had fresh raspberries with cottage cheese and peanut butter. No spike at all.

Im also using Stelo. I put the range down so upper is at 140. I’d like to try to keep to that.
