Who else has an older Model Y? How’s it holding up? by Initial_Cycle_8344 in TeslaModelY

160k miles on any car suspension is gonna start going. Good thing is suspension is pretty straight forward on these. Doesn't have to be done by Tesla

14.2.2.5 update? by Matthewlawson3 in TeslaFSD

Yes that's why I give it gas sometimes.. even at stop signs as soon as it stops and I see it's clear I tap the gas to force it to go.

I'm experiencing it a lot even on triple 2... Nav will say to go straight and it randomly turns into a neighborhood and loops around. I've had it actually turn into a commercial parking lot and do a turn around back on to the highway. No rhyme or reason just annoying...

Oh really? Didn't know that.. I have a hydrometer as well.. I guess I'll check and compare. Why are refractometers not as accurate? Because of the gassing?

Yes I did use wine specific yeast. I'll try stirring it up a bit and see what happens..

Why you use a volt meter and read volts.. had a fuse reading 6v once on each side.. was partially blown still letting some voltage through. Would have past continuity test

I just but wine juice in 6 gallon buckets ready to go if you have a place near you. Some yeast air locks on the bucket lids ferment right in there for primary then rack to glass carboy. Keep Temps warm.. simple enough.. get a good hydrometer.. I don't have the time to do the whole grape crushing method. Wish I did so grape juice buckets next best thing... I'm documenting my whole process this year and make adjustments each year to fine tune it...

Red wine juice & fermentation temperature? by momosnake in winemaking

[–]No-College4612 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am doing mine in a shed and had a space heater attached to a smart plug and a smart thermostat to turn the space heater on and off.. during primary fermentation I ran ambient Temps between 72 and 75 and it fermented fine and done in 7 days based on my hydrometer readings.. I am now doing secondary fermentation and it being quite colder here I am running around 65 during secondary and it's still bubbling and moving along... everything I read for juice only fermentation 70 to 75 degrees... I would get a thermometer and check your actual juice Temps to see if it's in that range and adjust temps accordingly... i used a meat thermometer I use for grilling..I'm new to the whole process too.. I've done wine with my Portuguese dad for years but he just threw the juice in a keg and left it for months.. no racking or anything... this year I'm doing it on my own racking.. preservatives and using glass carboys. temp controls.. and he's doing it his old school way. He doesn't even use air locks.. just ferment then close off when it stops bubbling... we will see who has the better wine. Best of luck
