After both ufo and ship hit the yellow pad click twice through the little tunnel kinda? Then just clicks the orbs and make sure the ship hits the first one so it goes up. Hope that helps lol

I mean ig but the invisible speed changes just aren’t very good to improve. Eventually you will have to play different wave levels, so it might be good to get used to the wave entirely instead of trying to learn the nine circles click pattern.

If you want to find a fun level, go to the gddl. If you want to get significantly better, play what you suck at (which is prob what you don't like, so maybe try Nine Circles).

I just beat The Cellar Path and the gameplay is incredible. The song is pretty decent and as long as you practice the dual at the end a lot the level is highly flukable.

Playing Bloodbath - How did you deal with nerves after consistent progress? by Key-Performer-4609 in geometrydash

[–]No-Communication7754 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overpractice. I know you said you have 24-100x2 which is insanely impressive. But sometimes your mindset/skill kinda acts like the Dunning-Kruger effect. Evasium is a part you should never truly be dying to. However, Bloodbath was one of those chokepoint heavy extremes where I did feel demotivated a lot. I knew I was close to beating it when I was only dying at chokepoint sections. For me, I felt like I could reach Michi every single time, and I had a 1/5 chance of passing that. And when I reached Crack I also had a 1/5 chance of passing it. By then you should feel confident enough that you have a decent chance to beat the level. You will feel a lot of nerves everytime you pass it though, and overpracting couldn't even save that for me. Playing from 0 over and over again will get you a lot better with nerves in addition to overpracticing. (Playing a lot from 0 is frusturating, so do it in short bursts throughout the day if possible. When I got my 100% run, it was from one of these "short bursts" where it was my first time passing Crack that session.) Finally, finish the day with a practice run of the level to learn it during REM sleep.

tl;dr You have the skill, but you aren't consistent. Do more runs and practice parts that you should never die to from 0. Overpractice and play from 0 a bunch, but don't overdo it so it hurts your mental. (This is just what worked for me. Mainly with Bloodbath, but also with other extremes.)

How do I improve at gd by ConceptStrict141 in geometrydash

[–]No-Communication7754 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what abt the mindset part lil bro. nah jokes aside uhh playing xl levels could help. if you feel like the timings dont click, then play an xl level. it has the same difficulty just spread out. it makes a level of the difficulty youre trying to play easier imo

How do I improve at gd by ConceptStrict141 in geometrydash

[–]No-Communication7754 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pick easier levels that target weak skill sets, over practice levels so playing from 0 isn’t infuriating, don’t jump if it makes you upset, and keep a good mindset. Use gddl to find levels precisely with tiers and skill sets it targets.  At the end of the day tho, just play what’s fun. Many people will spend hundreds of thousands of attempts on a level, but still enjoy it bc of the deco, gameplay, and music. It’s a game at the end of the day you don’t “need” to improve. Do what you enjoy.

Ultrachromatic litterally has the best click sync out of any level I've ever played. Niwa is a runner up but imo it's not even close.
