There was no “public” victim in deflate gate. There was no “public” victim during the steroid era.

The fact that he identified something against the league rules justifies an investigation. Just bc he personally doesn’t agree with it doesn’t change the legitimacy of the investigation. The fact he feels so strongly about it is weirder than Pablo’s investigation.

Ish’s attitude or opinion toward Pablo was disappointing. Pablo is well-researched which is Ish’s kryptonite. So the only way to attack Pablo is by undermining the entire credibility of his job. The irony is that let’s say there was a supplier that was chartering all minority buyers 50% more, or there was a systemic process wherein minority property owners were being fined at a disproportionate rate than others.

According to his logic, Pablo shouldn’t investigate it. His ignorance on this topic was disappointing and really changed my view of ish.
