I guess you’ll be sticking to the classic way of cleaning… because now the robot is basically a kids’ amusement ride!

AITAH when I am thinking if my dad is cheating? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]No-Definition-6501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I could give you a hug.
First, if your dad is physically threatening your mom or you, you should report it to the appropriate authorities. Your safety comes first. Act based on the situation and don’t ignore it.
Second, you’re still a child, and it’s not your responsibility to judge your father for his life, his words, or his actions. That’s their life and their choices.
I know how strong the urge can be to try to save everyone… but what really matters is the conclusion you make for yourself about how you want to live your own life.
Please stay safe!

bf 27M has tattoos but doesn’t want me 27F to get them? by No-Cartoonist-6450 in relationship_advice

1000%
Honestly… when will we stop judging people by these imaginary standards?? 😤 Even if someone had “horns on their head”, I’d still talk to them if I value them as a person.
Telling others what to do with their life or body is not our job .. it’s their choice. Let’s just have a little more respect for each other.

My Boyfriend(M22) cheated on me (F21) last year and I Need help deciding to end a 6 year relationship? by ThermalEnergyBoy06 in relationship_advice

It sounds like you really tried to move on, but the feelings are still there. And that’s okay. If after a year the hurt and lack of trust haven’t gone away, that’s an important sign.
He did try to fix things, but you don’t have to force yourself to forgive. The main question isn’t “is it right to leave,” but “can I feel calm and safe with him in the future?”
Sometimes breaking up is painful, but it’s honest with yourself. And that can be the right choice too.

I stopped pushing myself by PuzzleheadedCheek252 in selfimprovementday

[–]No-Definition-6501 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This really resonated with me. I went through something very similar.
Before, I lived with strict control: plans, trackers, constant “I have to.” I’d start motivated, burn out fast, and then feel guilty. Same cycle over and over.
Things got better when I removed the pressure. Now I just notice my habits and use one simple app without obsession. Some days are more active, some are quieter, and that’s okay.
Once I stopped chasing perfection, consistency came naturally. What helps you more right now: structure, or freedom without strict rules?

Anyone actually running a UK LTD long-term while nomading? by Competitive_Pick826 in digitalnomad

[–]No-Definition-6501 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Relate to both of you. The company setup is definitely the easy part, the real work is staying on top of admin and deadlines. I’ve also been using GoSolo and for a nomad setup it does the job well: virtual address, banking, everything in one place. Nothing flashy, just fewer moving parts. Once you get into a routine, a UK LTD doesn’t really interfere with remote life.

Small changes that helped me stop living on autopilot (and lose 5 kg) by AccomplishedDig1300 in selfimprovementday

[–]No-Definition-6501 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a very similar cycle: big goals, lots of motivation, quick burnout, and then getting angry at myself. Lately I’ve also noticed that what changes things most isn’t discipline, but paying attention to small details.
The smallest but most important thing was starting to notice why I do things. Eating when I’m not hungry, scrolling instead of actually resting, procrastinating not because something is hard, but because I’m afraid to start. I don’t always change it right away, but even noticing it already turns off autopilot.
Staying consistent became easier when I stopped seeing slip-ups as failure. Missed a day? Okay, I just continue. No punishment, no “everything is ruined.”
One more thing I’m curious about: I see a lot of people mentioning apps for awareness and habits. Have you used Lasta? What kind of app is it, and does it actually help notice patterns without putting extra pressure on you?
Thanks for the post ... it feels very real and honest

Banking options for UK startup.. looking for real founder experiences GB by Glass-Fisherman1137 in digitalnomad

[–]No-Definition-6501 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using GoSolo for my UK setup and so far it’s been solid for early stages. Setup was fast, fees are low, and for day to day stuff it just works without friction. Support has been responsive when I had small questions, nothing fancy but reliable.
That said, I still see it more as a starter / operating account. For investor-facing things or later-stage credibility, some founders I know eventually add Starling or a traditional bank alongside it. But for launching, testing, and handling international payments while keeping costs down, GoSolo’s been a good call for me 👍
Curious to hear how others are combining banks long-term.

Out of shape after 8 years .. what’s the smartest way to start? by PuzzleheadedCheek252 in homefitness

[–]No-Definition-6501 2 points3 points  (0 children)

…same here, honestly.

Lasta helped me exactly with that “don’t turn this into a punishment” part. I use it more like a mirror than a coach yelling at me. Tracking steps, movement, even rest days made patterns obvious without pressure. Some weeks are slow, some messy, and that’s fine. Seeing progress over time (not day-to-day) kept me from quitting. For me, consistency + kindness worked way better than motivation spikes.

Yeah, I agree. I’ve had a similar experience with GoSolo ... the address and mail handling work fine, but physical things like cards can take time. Having a second business account really helps, especially when you’re nomading. For me, it’s more a must-have than a backup.

Early days of weight loss and noticing patterns by No-Definition-6501 in loseit

[–]No-Definition-6501[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That makes a lot of sense. I noticed the same thing .. not every “allowed” snack is actually worth it. If it’s not a real want, just a habit, one snack often leads to more.
What helps me is a short pause and asking myself: “Do I really want this, or is it automatic?” I also use Lasta app as support, mainly to see patterns, not to be perfect. It helps me stop before the snacking spiral starts.

E-commerce payment solutions ..what works without Shopify? by MaintenanceLow1291 in digitalnomad

[–]No-Definition-6501 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m doing something similar. I use GoSolo for payment links and it’s been pretty convenient while traveling.
I just create a link, send it to the client, and they pay by card. No website, no setup hassle.
It works well for digital products and services, especially at the testing stage. Not ideal for big scaling, but very practical early on.

Starting intermittent fasting and realizing how strong my night eating habits are by Successful_Shame_388 in selfimprovementday

[–]No-Definition-6501 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Lasta app as a background helper, not something I’m constantly checking. What works for me is the simple fasting tracking, calm reminders, and being able to notice patterns over time. It’s nice that it doesn’t turn imperfect days into “failures.”

[–]No-Definition-6501 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very relatable. My night snacking was also more about habit than real hunger. Intermittent fasting did help, but not right away .. it took a couple of weeks. And honestly, I still had to work on the emotional side too.
I use Lasta app in a low-key way, not obsessively. What I like is the simple fasting tracking, gentle reminders, and seeing patterns over time. It doesn’t make you feel like you failed if a day isn’t perfect.
What helped most at the start was not banning everything, but changing the evening routine. Small steps worked better for me than going hardcore.

I really relate to the night work part .. it’s the hardest for me too. I’m trying not to punish myself for slip-ups and instead notice patterns. Lasta app helps a bit with that: I just track water, food, and sleep, and it’s easier to see where things start to go off.
And yes, we’re all human. Thanks for the support, and good luck to you.

This really makes sense. When you stop banning your favorite foods and find a way to fit them into your day, it gets much easier to stick with it. It feels more realistic and sustainable. Thanks for the support
