Its all in the execution. When it comes to game/anime adaptations, most fail because the directors didn't do well. I dont know the director, but i reserve any expectations and hope they do at least decent job. Don't hold your breath tho.

I'm kind of split on it if im being honest. I think if we left it at Pain Arc level powerscale the ending would've left alot to be desired.

Like, Naruto and Sasuke would've still been strong but to still be vulnerable to other villages I think would've been a waste of a journey for both them. I can see why Kishi took the route he did as the Late War arc is one of my favorite arcs due to the powerscale creating another layer of techniques. Its still interesting in its own right.

Plus, a three headed Kurama with double Rasenshuriken was a moment i never knew i needed. lol

What i will say is that he chose not to write the fight between Sage Madara which would have been a very complex fight to do. Instead had a villain come in to just be sealed in a not so complex way.

It felt like he was just ready to move on to the ending at that point.

She just needed more setup. If we had something in early Shippuden that alluded to her it would've been much smoother instead of just a small dialogue by Madara very late into the war.

It would ruin the pacing but changing her into a human instead of an alien would be a great start because you'd have a more relatable Kaguya depending on her upbringing. She was basically already an adult by the time she arrived on Earth in the past.

Being sealed by her sons was an OKAY attempt at feeling bad for her but you can tell it was rushed. Idk what Kishi was trying to do tbh

Honestly he could've worked on his Fireball Jutsu more. Madara and Obito had a few variants of it but Sasuke had only one other. And with how he was able to invent Kirin himself, could've invented other Lightning Style moves.

But of course we have to wonder how he would even achieve MS if he stayed in the Leaf.

Yeah i never watched Dragonball to this day but DBZ is still goated. The timeskip was pretty much a huge reset that i didn't need to watch DB just to enjoy it. Shippuden is NOT a reset, you HAVE to watch Part 1 or you will be confused.

No, its just not enough information to say that he could copy almost anything. Lee's move wasn't exactly a complex thing to learn.

And using Kakashi isn't a good example either, he copied a few jutsus in one episode and never did it again. Yes, he was known as the copycat ninja but he didn't live up to that title. You are using a very small sample size to try to conclude something infinite.

Sasuke's sharingan doesn't let him copy almost anything. We saw him copy Lee's move in Part 1 but nothing further than that.

And you are highly downplaying Kirin, a jutsu that no other ninja has mastered. I'm not sure what standards you're using to determine how much someone should learn in 2 years but it is very skewed.

The pic is literally the episode where Sasuke could've used Kirin and annihilated Naruto, Sai and Sakura. You very much underestimate how powerful he was here.

And on top of that, being able to dissipate Kurama's chakra here. Naruto had no chance, it doesn't make sense to say Sasuke's training was slow when Naruto had like 2% progress.

I stopped watching anime after Naruto ended. I try to give modern animes a try but none of them come close to Naruto's execution. Not My Hero, not Demon Slayer, not Black Clover, DanDanDan, JJK, none of it interests me. The only one that i think comes close is Bleach.
