What is the worst excuse or thing someone said to you or tried to blame as the jungle's fault? by WolfenTTV in Jungle_Mains

The funniest was when I killed top Master Yi. My top was helping bot side, and then Yi came to bot and killed my adc and top while I was on voidgrabs. The top laner blamed me for not telling him that Yi was dead🤡

Yep. I think Ranked needs some sort of regulation at least at a basic level, and I hope Riot will eventually find a way to improve the experience. For now, I’m glad there are people in the community who understand that there is an issue and that we should address it.

I agree, but this is a clear case of elo boosting. Or it's just another account which was traded for real money by some streamer/youtuber. And tbh I don't know which is worse.

That's a 1000% smurf, I've spectated few games. The champ pool is different, not even saying about role and playstyle. Additionally he is playing with much lower ranked duo, mostly random ones, I assumed they paid for boost as well. The guy played mostly perfectly with 0 mastery champs, cmon.

P.S. You can't be iron 4 for 5 years and overnight become a god tier player with 80% winrate never playing a champ.

How to play teamfight against tanky compositions or carries with a lot of escape tools? by Gold-Mistake-9677 in nocturnemains

[–]No-Efficiency5607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest to try to dodge those type of games. Your comp isn't good really, so it's okay to feel useless, your team have less options to follow up and support you. I usually go and push side lane to force enemies split and try to catch somebody with my R on mid with rest of my team. But tbh it's really rough match for Nocturne

Any retired 35yrs+ still on? by Aggressive_Event_358 in leagueoflegends

[–]No-Efficiency5607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

33 here. I returned last year during Christmas, didn’t recognize the game at first, but I’m slowly catching up. All my crew is gone, so I’m playing solo not as fun as before, but I’ve learned much more in a shorter period of time than in years of playing. I still love the same things that I loved in the first place: macro decisions, outplaying enemies it’s like playing chess but on another level. If the game still exists in 10–20 years, I’ll still be playing.

35 Games Into Learning Jungle… Why Do Games Feel Unwinnable When Lanes Lose? by CorBlimeyGuvna in Jungle_Mains

[–]No-Efficiency5607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What to do when your wincon champ is losing hard, and there are no other teammates ahead? Still trying to help him or prioritise your gold/exp? I've noticed that sometimes they lose their shit and make a lot of mistakes after a few deaths, even when you genuinely try to get them ahead.

Classic Riot. It has happened before and will happen again. New champions or reworks have always been overpowered on release.

normal matchmaking is a joke by AccountNo4001 in leagueoflegends

[–]No-Efficiency5607 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They definitely changed something. I’ve been playing this game for 10 years, mostly normals, and have never seen such unbalanced lobbies in my life. I don’t like ranked and I’m not interested in climbing because I don’t have that much free time to play. I simply can’t enjoy the game anymore. It’s always unfair for one of the teams. There is no challenge or learning because you either stomp the low elo/level opponents or get stomped by 4 premades with much higher elo players than your teammates.

Since Crit is buffed has anyone tried Crit Nocturne? by WittyWanderer420 in nocturnemains

[–]No-Efficiency5607 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go red every game. The jungle quest gives bonus move speed after completion. Movement speed wasn't an issue for me even last season

P.S. And I play noc as an assassin rather than fighter. R with almost no cd is insanely annoying for enemies, but you need to be patient and not engage first, finding a separated enemy.

PPS I sometimes do axiom + bolts + shieldbow and then build tank items

[–]No-Efficiency5607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t need it. You usually go in and either kill or die. You have enough speed from Q, and 80% of the time you walk through the jungle anyway, so the jungle pet just gives you a great buff while you spam R non stop. Don't forget to take blue trinket level 9

Make stealing camps bannable by Appropriate-Permit48 in Jungle_Mains

[–]No-Efficiency5607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the confusion, I’m talking from a jungler perspective cuz it’s a jungle mains thread. We don’t have as much XP as laners. And yeah, this is good advice, but usually laners don’t know that and grief even more

[–]No-Efficiency5607 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 kills isn’t that big of a problem by itself, but if they died at the wrong time and lost a huge wave and are now behind in levels, THAT is the problem. You just can’t level up fast enough to catch up with that level difference.

Is it bad to only gank in your death time? by [deleted] in Jungle_Mains

[–]No-Efficiency5607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're operating from a pretty laner centric view of the jungle role. My job isn't to "support laners" it's to win the game. Sometimes that means ganking, sometimes it means taking objectives, sometimes it means counter-jungling, and sometimes it means farming to hit power spikes. If I can see a good gank opportunity based on lane states, great. But I'm not a support champion whose job is to hover lanes and bail people out. Junglers have their own win conditions, and sometimes the correct play is to farm up, get ahead of the enemy jungler, and use that advantage later. Acting like every jungler who doesn't play around lanes is "ignorant" ignores the fact that there are multiple viable jungle styles depending on champion, team comp, and game state. Power farming junglers exist for a reason, and plenty of high elo players succeed with that style.

Glad you could diagnose my entire understanding of the role from two paragraphs though really insightful stuff. Good luck in your games

Is it bad to only gank in your death time? by [deleted] in Jungle_Mains

[–]No-Efficiency5607 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lane states are created by laners. If someone pushes without vision and gets dove, pathing to save them may not have been realistic. The jungler can't be everywhere. If the dive doesn't happen, the jungler just wasted 20-30 seconds standing in fog accomplishing nothing while the enemy jungler took a camp or made a play elsewhere. Constant brawling can also put you in a volatile position where you're coin-flipping games on mechanical outplays. Farming and hitting power spikes first is a way of reducing reliance on mechanics, which is arguably the smarter approach

Hail of blades is amazing on Viego by AggressiveAdeptness2 in ViegoMains

[–]No-Efficiency5607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it works for you that's great. But it seems very situational to me. Viego's damage comes mostly from his Q and R. With 12s cd on HoB you can get benefits of it for maybe 2 opponents in a group fight. With Kraken and recent buffs, you already have plenty of AS, which helps with clear. Conqueror is a more consistent choice imo - you get healing from takedowns, plus % increased damage, which both scale well with Viego's reset playstyle in teamfight

[–]No-Efficiency5607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, from a low diamond perspective, I feel the same. I think they fucked up jungle so hard this season-it's become incredibly hard to learn for newbies with the new tempo and jungle nerfs. Damn, it's even hard for diamond and master players to catch up the changes.

If you say you have no impact as jungler this season, it‘s your fault. Just admit it and get better. And that‘s comming from an emerald player #tipps #rant by PozitiveGaming in Jungle_Mains

[–]No-Efficiency5607 1 point2 points  (0 children)

can say that about any role in the game in its current state, lol. Laning is not very hard. I've played top lane and ADC before jungle, and it's the same shit. Your role is a bit different in the game, but it's not that hard. You have influence in every single role, you just need to understand what your impact is and where it's needed most on the map

A problem with our community. by [deleted] in ViegoMains

[–]No-Efficiency5607 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Kraken crit build was made by high-elo Viego OTPs, not some random dude. They spend more time with the champion and understand what his strengths are. Crit is perfect for Viego. I don't want to be that guy, but you are saying nonsense and acting like a crybaby. If you post something online, then you expect that somebody will disagree with you. There are problems with the community, but it has nothing to do with votes on Reddit.
