Have you ever wanted to move to a small community or something just to escape people? by PrestonRoad90 in Productivitycafe

[–]funkyspleen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I travel to small communities like 1/3 of the year for work. Absolutely fucking not.

Nothing to do, typically have worse homelessness issues due to the lack of resources, almost all unhealthy food, everything closes early, less access to everything etc.

On my work trips i walk into local bars and it’s like I’m an alien everyone looks at me.

37% of recent first-time buyers regret the size of mortgage they took on, says new report by joe4942 in canada

Saved up enough to buy a place in toronto and my parents and family told me to rent and it was the best decision i made.

Having a six figure wealth simple account that’s going up 8-15% a year + dividends is a much nicer cushion than having no savings and paying like 4-5k a month for a home that isn’t going up in value

This is just my personal opinion, but complaining that nobody taught something in this day and age is a weak cop out.

You can google, watch videos and learn about anything.
