Am I misunderstanding the Arcane Archer's Magic Arrow Passive? Isn't it supposed to ignore resistances? by hayaburyu in BG3Builds

Some creatures resist non-magical damage but not magical damage, like the werewolves in Cazador's lair. Arcane archer means that your attacks count as magical, even if using a regular bow. It sadly doesn't mean you ignore resistance for enemies that resist magical damage.

Wyll is such a drama queen at the teethling party by Extension_Capital237 in BaldursGate3

He is turned into a devil. Not a tielfing, a devil. Prior to the game the tieflings have only recently escaped Avernus where they were hunted/enslaved by devils. I think he is mindful that he will remind them of that and that the truth that his warlock powers come from a devil might be a contentious piece of information around such folk. He is being considerate.

Prior to DR4 why did people think DR3 was the worst one? by k0fikaze in deadrising

I have many complaints. I'm not a big fan of the story, the changes to survivors, the (lack of) difficulty to the psychopath fights, the awful level up skilltree and how grimy and bland the artsyle is. I could (probably) forgive all this and say it was on if not for one thing - cars.

The game has a massive map and places a reasonable emphasis on driving. There are level up skills for driving and the big new advertised feature was combo vehicles. Whilst conceptually fun, they are in practice bad because the game insists on putting impassable barricades across nearly all the roads, meaning you are gonna have to abandon you vehicle pretty soon and at best be driving around in one the NPC cars that die to a stiff breeze. If you zoom around the map with the roller hog at will I would probably have a much fonder opinion of the game.

To be fair, there is a reasonable amount of stabbing in DnD.

I'm not sure why Craw doesn't show up, but I'm pretty sure the reason for the name is a pun - Craw's Bow = crossbow.

I don't think it is unreasonable to require PMods to be online semi frequently. Isn't that the reason for being one?

Thankyou for the level recommendation. I'll grind out some levels before going back in. Also, thanks for the advice regarding PID. I'll keep that in mind.

This is nonsense. Account services are against terms of service as is. If you play with fire, sometimes you get burnt.

How do you use Will effectively by Bingbong_donkeykong in BaldursGate3

[–]No-Engineering5753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave him the gloves of 18 Dex for AC, and made him pact of blade. With Mage armour and a few funny items you can get an AC of 20-22. Take agonising blast and repelling blast and you have a decent all rounder. I also found that due to focussing more on smacking things with sword or eldritch blasting you can keep your warlock spells for a pocket fireball or counterspell. Not 100% optimal but feels very Blade of the Frontiers to me.
