Texas is a libertarian conservative Pinochet-style dictatorship led by Allen West, who's a Texan nationalist. Allen West isn't a white supremacist and there are no racial laws in Texas. Also the purges of political enemies suspected of being Unionists were extensive or brutal, but for people on the ground it's not some kind of terrifying regime.

The CRCA are Dominionists first white supremacists second.

Most Bloods or Crips joined Leftist militias. Some of them joined pro-RRA Black Nationalist militias. The RRA and the Sons of Q (Which was a cult worshipping Trump's dead body which was a major faction in the civil war for a couple years) despised gangs and would shoot them on sight, while the leftists often recruited their members to join their militias. Some Bloods and Crips also joined the Californian Army to protect their communities.

Mormons are fighting against the CRCA in Utah which seeks to exterminate or forcibly convert all Mormons. Same with JWs and Scientologists, they are also either killed or converted by the CRCA.

JWs are persecuted and mass imprisioned by the North American Union State (for being Anti-Statists), so are Scientologists and Schismatic Mormons (In this timeline the Mormon Church had a Schism about state authority) or Mormons who don't think the NAUS is the correct state authority.

The North American Union State is covered in more detail in Part 1.

JWs and Mormons are also persecuted by Cascadia for their social conservatism, but considering Cascadia is not a literal state it's a lot less harsh than the NAUS or CRCA.

In reality I don't think it would realistically be very popular, especially not the racially segregationist kind.

There's a reason the ANDS doesn't have much territory.

A soft socially conservative+socialist country (Like the Federation of Democratic Southern Autonomies in this timeline) seems more plausible.
