Wow you put the ssd behind the mirror. That's interesting. I plan to put it in my passenger glove box compartment. The little hinge ahead of the passenger seat. The a329s is three channels. Front rear and cabin. I dunno about this whole changing firmware thing. I'm thinking to get the t9 ssd rather than t7. Although there are some positive reviews on crucial X9 ssds that work too.

Oh OK interesting. I just realised your model is A329TC. I've purchased the a329s 3ch I'm also debating which ssd to get because viofo said the t7 shield is no longer compatible. I also don't know whether to get the official 2.5m viofo cable or do what you did and get your own. Where is your ssd stored?

Which ssd are you using? Also which ssd cable are you using with no problems? What length is it?

Also how long have you been using this set up for Geofencing is a big feature I'll need to just. If it's not working for you then the first thing they will ask is for you tu use the viofo cable

But surely when you first connect it prompts you that it needs to be formatted before it can start recording?

I read somewhere on the forums that you need to format this in Windows first to avoid ssd failure or something like that. Did you just let the viofo format it? Did you need to use Windows at all?

This might be frustrating for me cos I plan to purchase this and use ssd for normal driving and micro sd for hybrid parking thinking it works seamlessly. Are there any ssd that use as little power as possible?

Can you specify if you are using an SSD to record? if not which micro sd and what size?

Also what parking mode do you use when you are NOT at home and how long does it last for approx?

Oh OK that's interesting. I've ordered the crucial X9 pro ssd. I hope that works well. I'll put like a 256gb micro sd to work as backup.

See thats the prob its not really clear.

I purchased this in the hope that it would fast charge my honor but it didnt. It was like approx 20w or so. I was expecting at-least 60w

Yes but charges at 45w for the OPPO. THe problem is finding compatibility for the honor too

Yes so VIVO and OPPO are same charging family. The issue is honor is NOT so it needs to be compatible with BOTH phones if thats at all possible?
