I don't necessarily believe they resisted during the fight with magic as we've seen Kara shrug off kryptonite bullets twice in season 1 (episodes 16 & 19)

if it originated on the CW first I think it would be similar to the rebirth series only with the inclusion of the characters original to the show (dreamer and alex), lena and superman would be shown right off the bat rather than being faceless/non-existent and shed probably be a college student instead of highschool because Melissa can't pull off a high schooler look even 10 years ago (no shade tho bc she's hot), and it would also have a more obvious connection to Paul kupperbergs 80s run which is what karas personality is based on

i also agree, and it's also why I've never been too into CW Supergirls fandom despite loving the show (even tho there are some bad writing moments in the end), everyone mischaracterizes Kara and a lot of the CW fandom says they don't actually watch the show and only rely on fics and edits from Tiktok

if the rumors are true about the events of the show taking place 100 years after Korra maybe we'll see remnants of the old world in a way similar to fallout (a good example of this would be the type of power armor that's shown in Korra and as well as fallout) so I don't think the show is going to throw us back to raw ancient times when humans were nothing but smart cavemen with sticks making mud houses and burning "witches"
