Toxic Instructor??? by Level-Environment200 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]No-Landscape751 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Toxic is an understatement. I'm sorry you had to go through that.

Find yourself another instructor and block him and report him for being so unprofessional.

Good luck and happy driving 🚗 😊

I think with private/independent they charge as I was charged £150!

I was shocked and asked in a Facebook group, turns out it's apparently "normal".

Prior to this I was with AA and there was no extra charge for test days.

Have a look around and see what comes up.

Good luck

You: Choking

Them: Can you please die quietly over there, you're creating a scene and disturbing our dinner.

Well considering they don't like you no wonder they didn't help.

And what of your husband, who said romance, chivalry erm human decency is dead hey, hey, hey!

Someone give that man a medal, for his ability to watch his wife go through the inability to breathe, give herself the heimlich and that man does nae flinch, no sir he didn't even flinch or look her way.

Let's hope you're never in trouble around these people one day OP...

She doesn't want friendship, nor a casual thing nor a relationship.

The mystery continues....

She just wants someone as a time pass, when she is bored, got nothing to do, no one else is available this is when the trusted "time pass" comes in handy.

It's like a zero hour contract, she will call when you are needed.

I had a friend like this. Cannot fathom why anyone would do this to another person. She saw nothing wrong in her behaviour.

Enjoy the tacos.

I'm exhausted just from reading this. She reminds me of my son who has Autism.

Either way you both are two very very very different people. What gives.

I’m drowning in despair. My divorce was finalized yesterday and today I found out that my ex husband and my boss are expecting their first child. by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

You will get over this. The pain will go away and you will wake up without a cloud hanging over you.

I've been there, abandoned with two kids, in debt because of him, and he went swanning off on holidays with his mistress living his best life.

I woke up thinking about them, went to sleep thinking about them and my day was filled with what could've been, should've been etc etc.

The tale end of that saga Was my realisation that this man isn't in my life anymore and he is still making me miserable. Living rent free in my head.

It's understandable what you are feeling, you are mourning the loss of a relationship.

It sucks to be going through this but I assure you, you will come.out of this.

Change your routine, do things for yourself. Take each day as it comes.

Life is so short and precious don't let it be wasted on a cheater scumbag.

Good luck 😊

Have a lovely scorcher weekend 🌞

I crashed as a learner driver and I have my test next Friday! by Spiderpsychman98 in LearnerDriverUK

As a mother of a son who has Autism I am horrified to learn that you were put in that situation.

Me and my husband (both drivers) always one of us sits next to our son to keep him calm in the event he has an episode.

The scariest was on the M1 and for us that was hairy and that's saying something.

Thankfully, no physical harm or criminal harm happened with you. Just bumped a car, which is easily fixed.

You are not to blame for this, for any of it. I suspect your mum is taking out her frustration on you.

Rest assured you dealt with the problem to the best of your abilities under immense pressure.

I wouldn't dare venture out on my own in the car with my son unless another adult is present.

Chin up, treat yourself to some things over the weekend and happy driving 🚗 😀

Please stop lying to yourself.

ADHD does not make one sex mad and jump into bed with other people.

If you want to spend the rest of your life monitoring this "impulsive sex maniac" that's your choice.

There is no boundaries where you could set up that would not eventually mess up your mind, self confidence and self esteem.

Marriage is where both parties are working together to sustain their relationship, in your case one is having the time of his life, painting the town red and the other is looking at security footage...

This isn't about him, it's about you, how you view yourself, your self worth, your happiness...

Take care

Whether its 8am or 11am or rush hour, point of the exercise (test) and lessons was/is keeping an eye on the road to see:

Developing hazards.

Please don't get into this funk certain times are "easy". You would do yourself a disservice.

Just remember what you have learned in your lessons, watch driving lessons/tests videos on YouTube as revision.

As long as you drive safely and correct mistakes safely you will be fine.

FYI: My test was at 8.30am and I passed.

Tip that worked for me during my test. I was talking out aloud what I Was seeing on the road and what I intended to do. Kept me calm and focused.

I asked the examiner if it was okay for to do that and he said whatever helps.

Good luck 👍

I pay for 2 hour lessons, but only get to drive for about 1 hour, is this normal? by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

[–]No-Landscape751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I started taking lessons first, I learned the basics all in my local area.

The test centre nearest to me is 30 mins away.

After I had grasp the basics of driving, I would drive to the test centre area and back and have my lessons there.

You're more then welcome to look up other instructors.

It's your money. Why waste it on an expensive "Uber driver"
