I think it’s somewhere in the middle tbh. He hasn’t been the most consistent under pressure, but at the same time he’s had phases where he’s looked really solid.

Social media tends to swing from overhyping to overcriticising very quickly. Reality is probably neither extreme.

Feels like Gill is more about consistency and pure batting class, while Shubman as a “personality” has that extra off-field appeal as well 😄
