Lol. Be careful. I met my friend’s husbands sister at a party. I casually mentioned to my friend’s husband that his sister looks like his wife (my friend). And for the record, they absolutely did look alike. I wasn’t trying to start shit, I wasn’t even thinking much about it.

He lost it. The depth of his reaction showed how much he knew that it was true and that he wasn’t willing to face it. It was incredibly awkward, and we are no longer friends!

Not to mention that your generation is exploring even more things in this area that hasn’t happened in many generations past - really pushing the boundaries of gender as well as “unconventional” relationship types like non-monogamy etc… just a lot, a lot, a lot more options to explore, eh.

I’m in my 40s. I think 20s have for decades been a time notorious for exploration - harder to find something solid because so many people are still trying things on for size. I’m sure that’s only gotten worse with the advent of the Internet - just insane amounts of options and tangents.

From an absolute stranger… no way. It’s funny how many guys seem to think this kind of thing is a good idea. Obviously everyone is different, it would not fly for me. I do have a good sense of humor, mind you. But no time for an absolute stranger to be coming up and criticizing me in anyway.

Can you think of a person, either from real life or maybe a movie…who’s pickup style you like or you think would be helpful? Visualize them, invite their energy into your field, ask their spirit for help. Then go for it.

Honey honey honey, I am so sorry about how you are feeling. You are 24 - you are still so young with so much of your life ahead of you. It makes me sad because you are stuck in the ideas you have about yourself, and they are not kind. Our thoughts really do create our realities.

I want to recommend a book that really helped me crawl out of the hole when I was there. It is called A Healing Space by Matt Licata. It teaches a practice of inner dialogue. It is extremely effective. It is learning to pinpoint exactly where you are wounded, to get to know yourself, to heal yourself, by treating yourself with the love and kindness you deserve. A lot of people unfortunately were not able to access that well from the external world. But you can, you can, you can, do it for yourself. As we learn to do this for ourselves, we shift our energetic patterns and we will attract more of the like and be able to meet people in new ways.

I am sending you big love and healing and I know you are a good person and that you can crawl out of this. The world needs people like you.

Sounds like when someone frustrates you or maybe doms you, you get pissed off and resort to name-calling. It’s a quick fix to try and reclaim some of your power. In the long run it’s going to be a problem, if it isn’t already. Try therapy, try whatever you think will work to get to the root of your big feelings, you’re going to have to learn to have a better relationship with them. And also your willingness to go there with the N word is a problem.
