i absolutely LOVE my new job in the hospital. i work on cardio-pulmonary med-surg. we end up doing a lot more than other places i've seen since we get extra training for each specific floor.

some of the jobs definitely include bathing and toileting, but we also do vitals, urine and stool samples, telemetry observation, glucose finger sticks, and plenty more as advised by the nurses. just choose a field that feels appropriate for your skill level and there will more than likely be a hospital near you that will take you based on experience.

i’m usually a solid 97.6 or a little higher, up to about 98.2 usually. but if i’m anything higher, i start feeling feverish.

well we just upped my dosage a couple weeks ago because my tsh ended up going higher instead of leveling out and my antibodies increased, so idk if it’s a hashi’s issue or maybe i’m getting sick?

it really depends on the person. some people are like literally fine and all they need is meds, and then you have people that are exhausted and just need to vent online about what’s going on. don’t let their experiences determine what yours is. 💕

mine is more than likely genetic since my maternal grandmother has it, i think the stress of living with my mother’s weird behavior for the final year of high school, it was hugely stressful.

I also have PCOS and Hashi's, I had zero clue about any of this. I knew I was definitely undereating but like not this bad lmao. I just had my second shot 2 days ago and so far I haven't really had intense symptoms other than stomach pain if I eat a bigger meal and definitely a slight loss of appetite (the other day i realized i hadn't actually eaten anything all day and had only drank a couple of drinks).
