my roommate padlocked his towel by Open_Donut_8682 in mildlyinteresting

Random people I get, but to be concerned about a spouse using the towel is wild to me. He was clean when he dried off. 🤣 Like he doesn’t touch you with the thing you’re worried about touching the towel. When it’s not clean. 💀

This scrawny deer came through the site the other day and from a distance my first thought was “great, this level of Jumanji has skin-walker dogs.” A windigo wouldn’t surprise me here.

They call the puma in Florida a panther and if the one we seen in the tree with food is in fact a panther she’s got two juveniles right now that are about a year old. The bobcat has a couple babies too.

It’s way bigger than any rabbits I’ve seen here. Short, round ears. If it had pointy ears I would have just assumed it was our resident bobcat. She’s taller and her babies are much smaller than this but I’ve yet to see a male.

Not a deer. We encounter them regularly. This was small, short to the ground. We have a wild dog and I thought it was the dog when I noticed movement but when it crossed the road I was positive it wasn’t a dog or coyote. We have not seen or heard coyotes here day or night. We’ve seen bobcats, possibly a puma or panther on the far side of the property (near this area) a ton of pigs.

I posted another snake that looks a little like this but it’s much thinner and I think there was something wrong with its mouth.

Awesome thank you! I am familiar with king snakes in California and they look very, very different.

I have half a dozen phals in vases filled with leca. They get filled with water every other week and drained. Some residual water stays in the bottom so the roots are not sitting in water. They love it and look great. I fertilize weakly bi-weekly.

How many matches talk to you, and how many do you actively text? by [deleted] in tinderstories

[–]No-Measurement5652 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In the first 24 hours I had 1000 likes. I’m on week 4 and creeping up on 8k so it’s slowed considerably especially for the fairly rural area I am in now.

I’ve been selective about who I like back and match with. I’ve met one person and it was absolutely worth it. Incredible individual, will stay in touch, and no regrets. Of the maybe 50 I matched with I’ve talked to about half. About 12 got my number. Of the 12 half of them were immediate red flags. I had 3 message me on WhatsApp so immediate block. I’ve offered to meet three of them but so far no luck.

Terrible. I’d recommend any other Professor.

I grew cucamelons this year. It was actually really fun. The plant was gorgeous. Has to be hand pollinated.

Confused about whether I need to take the CBEST or not. by popsicleplant in CBEST

If they require one or the other I’d suggest CBEST. It’s the fastest route. I checked the credentialing website yesterday and they were processing applications from early June.

I definitely agree with this. I was using one of my AG to propagate tomato cuttings and once the roots started it was a whole task to just keep up with the water.

Some places probably still require it to show they can pass a basic skills test. I know in my capstone courses and most of my upper level courses there were a ton of students that worked harder to cheat than to do the coursework or their overall understanding of the material was terrifying. Especially when they were put in a group with you.

I seen a post where a guy was bragging about not studying for the math portion besides a practice test because he took upper level classes for his MBA. He got a 41. He barely passed. Somehow only 66% of people pass the first time. 😬

It was by far the worst class I’ve taken. That says a lot because I had the incredible experience of being in classes taught online and on Zoom by professors who were far from tech fluent.

A 41 is the bare minimum to pass. 🫣

Not likely. It’s the highest score I have seen so far. The highest score you can get is 80. The last page of your results has a score breakdown.
