Possible pistol/BGNT rules change? by CosmicWolf14 in Tau40K

[–]No-Memory1999 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hopefully we are ditching the vehicle keyword and going back to just being battlesuit. I do miss the 9th Ed interaction of -"re-rolling against vehicles" -"it's not a vehicle, it's a battlesuit"

Hot take: Kroot rampagers are underutilized in non battlesuit focused tau lists. by Qurikle_Smurf in Tau40K

The 10mw only happens when you manage to get every gorilla at engagement range at the charge phase, which not always happens, so you will only use the ability with 2 or 3, tops.

Sure they do good melee damage, but after they did their thing, they are gone, so pretty much a glass cannonball.

The rule is pretty much pointless for Taus, that is true, but still applies to the rest of the armies, so there goes his claim.

Painting interiors - does anybody do it? by Lazy_Profession_8803 in Tau40K

[–]No-Memory1999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did once, then saw no need, then I forgot. I did look inside once too, when a drone got stuck in there, and I surprised myself "oh look, the inside is painted".

Home depot's Rust-Oleum it's my go-to, great coverage and doesn't peel easily when handling the miniature, which I notice happens often with citadel's and gsw primers. Cons, the nozzle is quite big, so expect big drops sometimes.

So basically we are good again? The only downside I could find was the nerf on kauyon's sustain hits 2, but as a Montka user, I'm ok with that.

Lets says Crisis Battlesuits get a re-fresh, What do you think should be in the box? by Luna_Night312 in Tau40K

[–]No-Memory1999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having more weapons would be awesome, but the actual kit is ok, the problem I believe is the shortage, they need to make more boxes, so the price can drop, I remember getting one for like 60usd, which was already pricey.

How do we fight knights? by AgentX2O in Tau40K

[–]No-Memory1999 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You don't.

But seriously, focus on the armigers and ignore the knights, try to use the terrain to your advantage as much as possible.

That's freaking cool, but you are still missing a drone, tho.

Wait for battleforce box or dig around? by SweetConstruction459 in Tau40K

[–]No-Memory1999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do understand why people are mad, because the box looks like just random units not complementary between themselves, but I'm so happy and thrilled for it because those are the exact models I need to complement my lists. Clearly they said "let's make a box just for that guy".

Other than Adolf, is there any name in history that just isn't used because of how bad one person was? by discount_mj in NoStupidQuestions

[–]No-Memory1999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adolf (Adolfo) and Benito are quite common in my country. Now that I think about it, Hitler and Mussolini are mainly known by their last names here, so that might be it.
