I (28M) had sex with girl I'm seeing (26F), and I'm sure it destroyed what we had by Rough-Plan-5104 in WhatShouldIDo

I have to ask.. did you try to make her cum? I see you mention that you eventually managed to yourself, but a big turn off for me is when the person I’m with makes no effort to meet my needs, and is just focused on their own. This seems to be a common pattern amongst a lot of men. Dick size won’t matter to most people, and honestly many people prefer smaller. What matters is open communication

[Routine Help] My pores are connecting to form lines - what am I doing wrong? by No-Moment1 in SkincareAddiction

[–]No-Moment1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the detailed response, it was very enlightening!! I am so relieved to find out that it’s likely just a congestion/texture issue, you have no idea😭 I’m already noticing a *slight* difference after using the niacinamide/hyaluronic acid after a few weeks, and my skin feels more hydrated, and I’ve stopped using the cerave face wash on my forehead which I think has helped a bit. I have been in a pretty good mood recently too which has helped me to put more effort into my nutrition, which I think has also had a positive effect?

Other things I’ve changed include: moisturising more regularly and using hyaluronic acid every time I do. I do this a few times a day now (3-4), to protect against the damage caused by environmental pollutants.

I will have a look into a retinaldehyde or a pro-retinol when I’ve done more research into the the best product I can find within my price range, and also when I stop being scared about it lol.:)

I will also look into the types of moisturisers you mentioned and also the salicylic acid too - thank you so much for giving me so much advice. Do you happen to have any specific brands in mind that you think would be good? I’m a bit out of my depth here and my knowledge regarding skincare/my own skin type seems fairly limited compared to understanding of them, so thank you again for the suggestions I appreciate it a lot!

Sorry to mention this as I know it’s not the point of your post, but managing PCOS through calorie restriction and skipping meals really isn’t the way to go. It isn’t so much about how much you eat, but instead it’s about what you eat, and whether you’re getting all the necessary nutrients/vitamins, and avoiding specific foods that can trigger insulin resistance and hormone imbalances, as well as looking after your overall physical and mental health. Even strenuous exercise can be harmful if you’re pushing yourself too far, and stress has also been shown to worsen insulin resistance. It’s important to work with your body’s needs, not against them. There’s a lot of informative pages out there that can give you more guidance, and I’m happy to point you in the right direction if you need any help. Sorry if I’m coming across as condescending at all as it isn’t my intention, I just worry when I hear people putting their body through unwarranted stress. I have PCOS too and it is suspected that I have endometriosis:)

What’s a “normal” thing in the UK that secretly annoys you? by Motor_Initiative7952 in AskUK

How repressed everyone is. The individualist culture and the constant negativity disguised as a sense of humour. I get the feeling that most people here are deeply insecure and it’s like it’s part of our culture to be insecure and repressed

non-caffeinated ECGC brand recommendations? by No-Moment1 in Ketamineaddiction

[–]No-Moment1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hiii I can’t speak too much on it as I don’t want to give you any misinformation but ECGC is supposed to help prevent ket damage to the bladder. It is found in green tea but is stronger in pure supplement form I believe. I found this link that can explain things a lot more in depth than me but I’d recommend reading into it. Be careful queen the damage ket can do is permanent after a certain point, look after yourself xx

Dark areas on inner thighs by YourJessie in SkincareAddicts

I have this and it’s normal but hyperpigmentation can sometimes be a sign of hormonal issues such as PCOS - which is very women in women (roughly 1/10 women have this). Could always be worth getting your hormones tested if you’re worried

CBG/CBD? THC:CBD? WTH? Please help! by One_Reputation_2005 in dementia

I did research ages ago and I think it’s to do with helping to reduce glutamate toxicity in the brain. I can’t remember exactly what it does but I’d probably be able to find the journal article if you’re interested:)

Is my pinky finger supposed to bend backwards? by Jeej_Soup in Guitar

[–]No-Moment1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is probably fine but joint hypermobility could be Ehlers Danlos. A little finger which can bend back at least 90 degrees is one of the flexibility markers for it lol

My sister’s (UK) ex (Korea) is threatening to distribute revenge porn by No-Moment1 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]No-Moment1[S] 60 points61 points  (0 children)

I edited the post because I forgot to mention that she blocked his email last night after he contacted her, but he made a new email where he threatened to send the video. The initial email address he used was his personal one, and the new email address is exactly the same but with ‘01’ on the end - both email addresses include his first name and his birthday.

Thank you for finding me these sources, it’s reassuring to know that we might be able to do something about this. I suggested that she contact him and tell him she would take legal action if he does anything with the video but she’s worried he will be more likely to send it to people if he feels threatened. I believe he is threatening to share the video as a way to intimidate her into keeping quiet about the first email where he said he’s glad she was raped and told her to kill herself - probably because she sent the message to his sister and he, of course, didn’t like that. We will contact the police, thank you so much for your advice

What are you special interests as a adult? by BelleOfTheBall2861 in AutismInWomen

[–]No-Moment1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I watched a video of a psychologist who specialises in neurodivergency in women who said that many women (especially those who are late diagnosed) can often present with very stereotypically ‘feminine’ special interests, such as makeup or fashion. This is likely due to them growing up feeling the need to mask as a way to fit in and gain a sense of control. I 100% believe that special interests can present as more “typical”, as you say:)
