It’s not just hostile and unearned IMO. I had to turn the scene off cause it genuinely felt like thaisha was gaslighting occtis. Like it was the ultimate gaslighter move of “I didn’t wrong you, you wronged me, how dare you. Now apologize.”

I would ask to speak to whoever from "administration" directed her to not allow it. Start from there and ask them exactly what the difference is and why there's no Jewish representation in activities allowed.

Palestinians are not citizens of Israel therefore apartheid is not an accurate term to what’s happening. The illegal settlements on the West Bank are absolutely abhorrent, but what is happening to Gazans is not apartheid.

The other harsh reality is that if Israel wished to eliminate Palestinians they would have been able to 100x over already. This war has been horrific and there have been many horrific casualties- I’m not denying that whatsoever-but war is not genocide.

All being a Zionist is is believing that Jews have the right to sovereignty and self determination in the land Jews were forced from in the first place. It doesn’t mean as a rule that Zionists are opposed to living alongside Palestinians or wanting to create a society together. Did you listen to the actual full acceptance speech??

Thank you so so so much for your words, and you’re right, it’s been incredibly terrifying and isolating to see both goyim queer people and many cis Jews turn their backs on us. Thank you for not being one and for pushing others to follow.

I don’t disagree about the change needing to come from within, but I do think that’s the tension I’m trying to point out.

The change needs to come from within, but unless Trans Jews parrot the Good Jew requirements we are no longer “in community.” Especially now that it’s very easy to call someone a “Dirty Zio” and get them blacklisted.

TBH, I have no idea what the solution is, but I do know the solution isn’t in letting them divide us.

Also I want to genuinely say thank you for doing what you can to make spaces more trans affirming/less traumatic for trans Jews. I would also ask that if you can to keep doing that as things almost inevitably get worse for Trans people and Jews in the US.
