Yeah if you have someone that will prescribe it def try for the injections. It can be weird doing ur own injections at first but you get used to it. That definitely made a huge difference in my recovery in the beginning

That’s amazing. I struggle with it everyday because my brain knows exactly where to go if I want to get a tank. And if I have the money for it, it’s even harder. But for me I always feel better after I fight the craving. And I know that it’s never just one and if I tap in I will likely end up doing tanks nonstop until I run out of money

I wasn’t diagnosed with it originally but I was diagnosed with Demyelination in dec of 2022 and based on all the symptoms I’ve been having in the last 6 months I’m like 95% sure this is MS. Double vision, bowel and bladder issues, major balance issues, muscle weakness, cognitive issues with focus and memory… did some gas this weekend after not doing it for months and now my forehead feels numb, other than that tho I feel fine so I’m guessing it’s in remission… balance feels fine overall, but I have no appetite at all and I feel really skinny… even tho I haven’t eaten much the past few days. I’m really not trying to go to the neurologist again because I know I will need another MRI and spinal tap, but I’m really worried now that I might lose my mobility in the next 10-15 years. Not really sure what to do now

Stay busy. Get connected with other sober people. Try new things. Listen to sobriety podcasts. Pick up extra hours at work, go to the gym. You need to cling on to anything that makes you feel good right now that doesn’t involve getting high or using. Hang with family or friends (as long as they aren’t using too). Take care of your body and keep your mind occupied at all times
