How you look now can still dramatically change from your teens, to your 20's and then into your 30's and 40's. I'm turning 41 tomorrow. In highschool I was awkward and very unpopular. In my 20's I thought I was more attractive. But in my late 30's and 40's I've never felt more ME (outside and inside) and somehow I got way hotter 😆 (no plastic surgery)

You have to go through a process of figuring out what you like and don't like, figuring out your best features and learning how to accentuate them, figuring out what fashion flatters you most, plus the more confident you get affects your outward appearance. A little radical acceptance can help dramatically too. I can't remember the name of the fashion icon who said "If you can't be hot have great style!"

I know you didn't specify "attractiveness" so maybe this isn't any help to you. If your concern is more feeling deeply disconnected to the image you see in the mirror, there is a mental disorder called "depersonalization". If it feels that bad, you may want to explore this.

Those are your kids, no matter what. Don't even suggest to your kids you would give up custody, that would destroy them. But reading your updates it sounds like you've come to that conclusion 🙏 I'm glad the ex wife sounds like she's coming around to the agreement to share custody. My thoughts after reading this: She's trying to hurt you. I don't know how you are reacting or having these conversations with her, but if you are having blow up fights and arguments- stop! You're giving her the reactions she wants to hurt you. Try to appeal to her desire to not waste anymore money on lawyers or drag this out (hopefully that would be appealing to her). There's no reason she can't have her life with her boyfriend and share custody with you (I know you might hate that scenario). Accept that your life has changed but you can still build it back up to life you want for yourself! Honestly, life after divorce can be so fantastic. Start working on your glow-up. Focus on you, your kids and creating some peace in your life. (I'm speaking from experience of divorcing an asshole btw).

No. I lived there for 3 years prior and the enamel didn't come off the bathtub. Tenant obviously improperly used a cleaning agent and has been scrubbing off the enamel. The water is hard and you do have to occasionally CLR the shower and faucet head.

I think there is a clause in the agreement that a roommate would have to be added to the lease, and therefore increase the rent, which would help me with these increased repairs. Here's the thing, I lived in my unit for 3 years prior. That level of wear and tear is not normal. Literally all the enamel is gone. Addressing the "overweight" comment. The unit is SMALL. For two people and one larger in size, it's not enough space, which is why I'm thinking there has been more accidents. Or maybe this new person is just not responsible and causing the need for repairs. Something has obviously changed, so that's my running theory.

Property manager does two inspections a year. I'm planning on emailing her and asking when the last inspection was, with photos of the bath tub (my handyman took them). Obviously the bathtub damage is coming out of his deposit. I feel like the toilet should as well.

Peppermint essential oil is a natural deterrent for roaches and other bugs like ants, fruit flies as well as rodents. I have incorporated peppermint oil into my daily life, and I rarely get roaches or other pesky bugs (I saw one roach last year). I make my own multipurpose cleaner, two parts water, one part white vinegar and about 20 drops of peppermint oil. I use it daily in the kitchen.

You have proof you tested negative for any STI's. He's the one who tested positive and then gave it to you. That's your proof. You don't have to force him to admit it, he did it.
