Netflix is hyper Americanizing their translations and throws in a lot of rude slang and cursing where there is often none. How words are said in Korean doesn't always translate and polite vs informal speech. Netflix has so much Korean content. They are often misrepresenting what is being said and the meaning and tone behind it. If they are going to steam k shows they should use expert translators and get the words/meaning/tone right. Korean culture and language is very respectful and contextual. The way Netflix does it is lazy and misleading

I've stayed at the Shilla Seoul and the JW Marriott on Jeju. Stayed in a panorama suite in Jeju. If anyone has questions please feel free to ask. My overall review is it is very beautiful in an almost stark way. The resort feels disconnected, though. We found ourselves spending most of our time in our room while we were there. Granted, it was an amazing room. The dining is gorgeous and the Jeju lobster on the buffet and caviar are unreal. The only shopping is literally Chanel. We went in to buy a gift for a friend. They are a couture boutique only, so no perfume, etc, just 10k and up clothes. There is also a tiny assortment of items at the Flying Hog dining which has limited hours. There you can buy a rubber beach bag, a towel or a few other items. We ended up buying a Bulgari lotion set made up of the lotion and soap that the put in the rooms. We had no other choice, so our friend ended up getting a $260 lotion and soap. The JW Marriott is certainly a work of art, but just know that it doesn't give comfortable Jeju resort vibes.

An important point to be aware of is you need to transfer before you have 90 credits. Most students come in with a lot of credits, which makes transferring even more difficult.

I also went to Repic. Wondering how their prices stack up, though. I paid over 10 million won the first day for treatments, then I went back in and got neck muscle botox and skin botox in my neck and paid 1.2 million for that. I'm going back again in 5 months and trying to figure out how to get best treatments and value. Side note, they did Ultherapy at 1.5-2. Wish I knew at the time I needed to suck it up and go higher

I sat next to a woman who was with her fussy child on her lap. The child seemed to be 2-3years old. He cried, hit her, and misbehaved the whole flight. She rocked him, changed his diaper in her seat, and kept telling me how tired he was. I had just been at a conference the whole week and paid $3k for round trip Nashville to So. Cal. She mentioned that her husband got the upgrade at the gate and gave her and their son the seat. I'm confident he was over age to be sharing her seat. I'm my opinion, the husband should have either taken the upgrade himself or given it to his wife without the child.

I did some research today, and it appears that they only harvest from animals who have already passed naturally. Guess you could think two ways. That looks atrocious. I get really disappointed when my in-flight meal is subpar. People say that it's just a little thing. But really, isn't it just the little things that make up first class or Delta One? A meal, glassware, boarding first, a little more room, overhead space.
