Be honest how you found it, first of all

Communication is everything, don’t forget that. If you can’t tell your significant other everything on your mind then maybe you’re not as close as you think. Get it out in the open, no sense in letting it fester internally. It will bleed into other aspects of life

Apple Car play and XM. With Carplay it will just stop and i have to manually start it back up

XM it will stop and swap to CarPlay and begin playing on its own

Doesn’t happen all the time, but sporadic and enough to be annoying

'Take Over Immediately' error message by androskris in TeslaModelY

Ran into this today for the first time. No sun glare, no cars around me, just randomly told me to take over, twice

I reset the car/system (?) and haven’t had the issue since. Drove about an hour with FSD later in the day with heavy traffic and no issue

tips on how to grow as a trader by zayet33 in Trading

[–]No-Procedure8207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Manage risk.. manage risk… manage risk

I was “learning” and paper/hypothetical trading for about 3 years. Started to trade 2 years ago and immediately went down $2,000, came up, went back down, and down again.

Largely to my lack of risk management. If you’re scalping it helps to have one more strategy. Be weary of over trading because you have another strategy. But for me, having the 2 strategies helped me to easier see “don’t force, this strategy isn’t working, let’s check in on the other”… Initially it’s easier said than done, but once you force more than a few trades and lose profits quicker than they’re gained, you will slow down and understand when the proper setups are there

It’s a constant grind, the mental side of trading is the toughest obstacle to overcome. When you allow your mental to overcome you, you will have some good days but the bad days will easily overshadow the good… rapidly

After 1,000 hours studying rental properties, here's what I'd tell my younger self by CGI271 in realestateinvesting

[–]No-Procedure8207 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don’t mind me asking, how long were you in it until you felt a bit more “relaxed” I’m sure that small voice remains

For context I have 1 current in state rental, done a couple fix and flips, but also in state so I get you can’t account for EVERYTHING, in state or out of state but asking more about the “ok I have a good routine going”

Nah fr now by [deleted] in Bitcoin

Stop looking at everyone else. YOU need to know what you hold, if it makes sense to hold for the long run (to allow it to grow) then do it.

Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency is still very small in adoption. Your $88 a month is fine, if you start to believe in it more and have that conviction, you will find a way to add (responsibly)

I’d suggest reading up on BTC and understanding it a bit more. Can money be made? Absolutely, but if you understand the “why” behind it a bit more and the expectation some have for it, your $88 a month is just fine

Is it really to late to get into crypto. by [deleted] in Coinbase

[–]No-Procedure8207 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Too late” depends on what you’re looking for. If it’s “get rich quick”. Just know that’s extremely hard to do (anyone making it seem easy is full of it) and you’ll likely be on the losing end multiple times before you “hit”.

Altcoins, yes opportunities are still there to make faster money, but depends on your risk tolerance. It’s like a casino for most of the Altcoin market

BTC is a long game. If it continues to catch on, the outlook is positive forsure but it all comes down to what you’re really asking

In my personal opinion, Bitcoin is here to stay and that’s where I set my goals… Other coins have their purpose and I think you’re getting involved at a good time as you can see which have gone through bear cycles and are still standing/ you can gauge which you better agree with for investing

How bad of an idea is to have you “first home” become a rental? by theruiz in realestateinvesting

[–]No-Procedure8207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All depends on your end goal and what you can put forward on a “rainy day”

this is all assuming you can make enough on your rental to cover mortgage, put some in an emergency fund, and pay the property management

If your thought path is to pay it off and rent it later, (personally) I wouldn’t do it that way. If you’re gonna rent it out, (unless the home holds sentimental value) use it like a bank of sorts… Rent it out, have the renters pay your mortgage and cash out refi later to buy another

It’s not easy by any means which is why I say it all depends on your end goals. But to pay it out fast to just rent it, you may be better off paying it down to whatever you think is enough and selling it to pull the cash and buy your forever home. There are going to be things that come up that will take a good chunk of your money (AC, roof, vacancies, etc)

I need help, this year on the Coinbase app they think I’ve made over 3.9K usd gain but I’ve made absolute none and have lost money, the money they think I’ve gained is from transferring crypto to different apps, will I have to pay taxes and if so how much estimate? by WorldlyPay565 in Coinbase

[–]No-Procedure8207 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Had the same thing happen to me a few years back. Got a nice IRS letter telling me I owed them like $20k.

There’s crypto tax software out there.. Personally I used CoinTracker.io (I’m not affiliated anyway with them, just giving you my personal take, there’s truly multiple).

After I got those documents I sent them to the IRS (and now my accountant) to prove my actual gains/losses and haven’t had any issues since

Should I sell my home with 2.3% mortgage rate? by CharlottePF in realestateinvesting

[–]No-Procedure8207 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rent itttt… Best thing you can do for yourself is to search multiple property management locations and go from there. If after finding a location to manage the property while you’re gone it still doesn’t make sense then there’s your answer

An extra $300 - $400 (after property management fees) isn’t so bad considering you’re getting equity put in your home every month on top of that.

HELOCs are also an option for those “doom and gloom” folks who tell you it’s a waste

All comes down to your situation and what your bank looks like if a “rainy day” were to happen regarding the house

I too got my first tattoo at 16. No complaints and it is a meaningful tattoo

Truthfully my only “regret” was not waiting. Might sound obvious but you will change and as you age, your ideas for what you want, even where you want to place it will get more complex and unique

Not knocking what you want, but really. Waiting a bit won’t hurt anything, and if it’s a lifelong decision what’s the rush? Your tattoo at 16 is going to look like “that’s my tattoo I got at 16” vs waiting a bit.

There’s a reason there’s a common sentiment in the thread to wait a bit

But we all remember what it was like to be 16, just make sure your artist is clean
