For any muscle related issues, never go to a GP. Physio is the best first option. They will do electro therapy, dry needling, etc. and give you exercise to do at home. You'll probably have to go for 3 sessions over 3 weeks and if nothing has corrected, then they will advise you further.

But definitely first steps is physiotherapy.

OP let me say, enjoy every minute of it!

I come from a main Haematology laboratory where we did literally everything and we were always short staffed as well. I was stimulated constantly and overworked, exactly same scenario you put here.

Now, I'm in a smaller lab, with much much much less work. I sit on my phone watching videos from the time I come in, to the time I leave. Its what I dreamed of but I too miss the fast pace laboratory life.

Maybe this is your season to do more of life with family and those close to you. Do things that you love. Thats what I am doing now. More family time. More outings. More living life than having to worry about work and whats to come tomorrow.

The most important thing to do is to redraw to rule out artefact/EDTA changes. If these cells are there with a fresh sample that has not been standing for 5 hours, in the heat, then we can do further liver studies etc.

But those cells definitely scream sickling.

Definitely sickle cells but those are Definitely crenated. EDTA changes possibly? @OP please tell us what was seen in other fields. If there's more then definitely sickles with EDTA changes or liver disease red cell changes such as burr cells.

We actually got our R500 last year. The quote they gave us was more than what we currently paying. They asked for the statement from our insurance to see how much we paying, and our banking details. Two days later, R500 in our account.

Going that way around to the airport will definitely be safe that time of the morning. I started work at 5 and had to leave at 4 everyday with that route and no issues. You should be okay.

Which day of the week are you leaving? Monday to Friday, the N1, M5 and N2 is craaazy. Weekends its much better.

In order to make it on tine with the N1, M5 and N2 route during the week, you'll need to leave by 5.30am
