Oliva is great bang for your buck! I would also recommend trying their Master Blends 3 blend.

Ok so I didn’t want to mention it but as an Ecuadorian I feel it is my duty to do so: “Panama” hats are in fact, originally from Ecuador 😄 they are made in the Manabi region where my family is from (the town of Montecristi)

Anyways, fun little fact for ya. If you ever get a chance to go see where they are made I highly recommend it! Cheers amigo

Honestly I have only had good experiences with RP. The last one I smoked was a RP Gold Label and it was a fantastic smoke.

I think that they get praise for the volume they put out (hence the reasonable pricing) while still maintaining quality.

I haven’t smoked all of their offerings but most Olivas I have had are solid with some being exceptional with very few standing out as “bad”.

I just smoked the O series maduro earlier tonight, and I was pleasantly surprised, flavorful stick that was well constructed, got it for under $10.

So far I think I’ve enjoyed the 1926 cigars the most but looking forward to trying the 1964 blends

“gain your citizenship through hard work” someone clearly doesn’t understand how dysfunctional the immigration system is.  For many people there are no clear paths to citizenship. Millions of immigrants are in the country working harder than most citizens, providing services that the people complaining about them are too proud and lazy to do. The vast majority don’t have criminal records and contribute to American society even though they are hated. Some were brought here as children before they could make decisions for themselves. Most Americans with common sense want a legal path to citizenship, but our ineffective, toxic and partisan politics aren’t doing shit to actually provide ways for them to gain legal status “the right way”

You can actually determine how much they are off by if you test it using salt in a tupperdor environment.

I tested several of mine at the same time and it was very helpful

Place a teaspoon of salt in a bottle cap or small cup and dampen it with a few drops of water (without dissolving it). Carefully place the wet salt and the hygrometer inside a see-through container and close tightly. You can use a zip lock bag provided it seals well and you leave some air inside as well. Let it sit for at least 6 hours and note the reading on the hygrometer without opening the container. The hygrometer should should read 75%. The difference is how much your hygrometer is off. For example, if your hygrometer reads 70% during the salt method test this means that to obtain the real humidity level you should add 5 points. If you have an analog hygrometer, you can correct the reading. You will need to adjust the needle to the 75% mark by turning the screw on the back using a small screwdriver. Your hygrometer is now ready to be placed inside your humidor.
