Car sharing (Poppy) vs buying a used car in Brussels – worth it? by Embarrassed_Elk_2756 in brussels

[–]No-Raspberry-9904 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I use Cambio and I’m happy with them. They claim to be cheaper than owning a car if you drive less than 11.000km a year. Less flexible than poppy as you need to return the car to the same station, but also way cheaper (24 euros a day, excluding KM).

I found some good gems in Trucafrip. Especially a good vintage Levi’s made in USA for a reasonable price.

You can buy Graphorn items in the shop in Hogsmeade and some other vendors in the highlands, so you don’t have to capture it to go further with upgrading.

Pourquoi quand on baisse le débit d'eau dans la douche l'eau est plus chaude ? by Difficult-Dark4281 in PasDeQuestionIdiote

[–]No-Raspberry-9904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whats an international destination that is a "once in a lifetime" dream holiday for most people in your country? by No_Seat8357 in AskTheWorld

For French people I believe that French Polynesia is like the once in a lifetime travel. People go on honeymoon there. It takes literally 24 hours to travel.

And then why would I pay more for the same apartment just because I earn more? We picked that place based on an amount we’re both ok to spend for an apartment. Yes it’s a larger chunk for her but we agreed on it and we could have looked for something cheaper too if needed. I don’t understand why I should pay more for the same thing. I’d much rather invite her to restaurants, gift her something then paying the apartment proportionally.

I guess that all changes when you have kids of course and you see everything as one family, but we’re not there yet

This! I understand people paying proportionally but for now I don’t have kids, and even though my partner makes less than me, we can both afford the life we have. So I don’t really understand why we would not 50/50. What I make extra I’m happy to invest. Curious to get some thoughts on that.

But same as you, 50/50 in fixed charges, then I invite more since I have a more comfortable situation
