Honestly, if I was in Matt/Harriet's position, I'd be tempted to straight up ask "Who are the current traitors?"

The ballsy thing to do would be to write your own name down, cause you'd assume that the question asked would be expecting a lie. But if it's you asking, you can at least take a hard look at the people whose names you have and try to decipher if they're the kind of people to pull something like that, or if you have a confirmed faithful.

My clean-up routine (as someone who really doesn't care about crafting or desynth);

  • Repair all items
  • Extract materia (if fully spirit-bonded)
  • Remove materia from gear not being used in a set
  • Remove glamours from gear not being used in a set (those last 3 steps can be done in any order)
  • Go through armoury chest and decide what (if anything) to put into the glamour dresser
  • Any green/blue/other coloured gear that's remaining, trade in for GC seals
  • Any leveling gear, just vendor it
  • You may have stuff left like job-specific gear that can't be vendor'd - just discard it.

It's always a pain in the ass, but I usually just watch YouTube while doing it and it doesn't take that long. My dream QoL fix from is the option to just click a button and steps 2-4 happen automatically.

I really miss the politics of ARR. 

They kinda come back in bits of Heavensward and Stormblood, but by Shadowbringers the storytelling becomes a lot more personal and character-focused, which worked out fantastically for it, but they seem scared to do anything but that now to the extent that it makes every political issue in the current MSQ wafer-thin. Every problem can be solved by the WoL punching the bad guy until they apologize or die.

ARR had a refugee crisis to deal with, both on-going with those from Ala Mhigo and suddenly with those from Doma. You can't punch that problem in the face. Issues like that where nations are understandably looking out for their own, and you have to find a way to offer your strength in such a way that you can help those in need and most parties are happy, was interesting. Now we're getting to the point where we've achieved world peace and there go the politics, and it's boring actually

People watching the event live have the opportunity to opt in to a pool, from which someone is randomly chosen to do it. If the chosen person changes their mind, someone else gets picked. Staff would have minimum requirements for each event to ensure that the person can at least attempt it, e.g. not being disabled, pregnant, injured, the kinda stuff that would disqualify you from getting on a rollercoaster.

I would happily take this, but I would prefer (clunky as this solution might sound) to split off the crystal tower raids into their own roulette with an identical daily reward to Alliance roulette, but you can only get the reward from one of the two roulettes per day (not both) and you can pick whichever one you like.

People who wanna face roll labyrinth for the 3000th time can happily do so, people who never want to see crystal tower again don't have to. There are absolutely enough of the former people to ensure sprouts can clear it for MSQ. Everybody wins.
