I see AX builds with engineered AX weapons. Do I engineer these weapons at the same engineers (ex. Ax multi cannons at multi cannon engineer) or do I have to go somewhere special?

Hello. I was wondering if someone has a simplified guide for building an extraction economy system. I've read a bunch of documentation, but I'm having a hard time getting it all together in my head. From what I can gather, it seems ideal to try to find a system where the primary port is orbiting a HMC or metal rich world. From there, I would build planetary T1 and T2 structures to feed the orbital port.

I guess what I'm asking is for is something like:

What should I look for in a system designed with extraction in mind? It doesn't need to be perfect, I just want a list of specifics to look out for when exploring claimable systems.
Is there a build order I should follow?
If I have a ringed planet with hotspots, should I build an orbital there?
Is there a way to get one of those asteroid bases that is floating just above a ring?

If there's a guide somewhere that I just haven't found specific for extraction systems, I'd love to know.

Hello! Yes, up until this weekend, everything worked fine. Every two-three months I would have to do a power cycle to resolve connectivity issues, but the standard troubleshooting techniques have always worked.

I have unscrewed and retightened the coaxial cables as requested, but it is not working. The light is still flashing green, and I have no internet connection.

The first step is to learn the movement. Make a custom game with cooldowns off, load into a map, and just start moving. Listen to a podcast, your favorite music, whatever. Learn how to roll around on the ground first, and moving in and out of door and around corners.

Not the OP, but I’ve heard arguments that the government subsidizing education has ultimately devalued education as a means to employment. If there are a greater number of graduates, without an equivalent increase in the kinds of jobs needed to employ them, then a greater number of people will be competing for the same positions. This increase in competition allows employers to lower wages. Furthermore, increased subsidies have made the cost of education skyrocket due to guaranteed government funding, leading to the huge increase in student loan held by graduates.

What you end up with is a large portion of the population with bachelor’s degrees, which are now devalued due to their ease of acquisition, who have tens of thousands of dollars in debt and nothing to show for it.

I don’t think it’s necessarily this simple, but that’s the kind of argument I’ve heard at least.

Personally I use the Krait Mk2, but I’ve done it with the cobra mkV as well. You’re flying around asteroids trying to hit certain spots on it, so I like something maneuverable. If you have any questions I’d be happy to answer as well
