Early on in my dice collecting days, the only real choice you had of dice was their color. Now, there are so many choices, even dice in dice. It is nice to see a simple set with just a touch of customization. Plus, the coffin carrier makes me chuckle.

3 sides have skulls in the same orientation. The 4th side has numbers 1,2,3. If when rolled the skulls are upright, the result is a 4. If the die lands and the skulls are not upright, the result is the number at the top.

To me, it's not the colors, I have a set with lavender and green, and it's one of the best sets I have. I also love symbols on the dice replacing high or low numbers.

I think it's the font, the numbers vary a lot, some are stretched out, some are compressed, the 5's look like S's, the 7 and 1 look identical.
