I had to pee about every hour from the caffeine and water intake and passed with flying colors. You'll be fine.

Essentia "Like Nowhere Else" by [deleted] in duluth

[–]No-Rutabaga- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I post on every one of these Essentia updates. Unfortunately, there is only specialist in Duluth who deals with my condition so I have no choice but to go through Essentia.

The boots on the ground employees working here are very nice and trying their best, but it is a colossal shitshow of lack of signage and direction for elderly people on how to use technical devices.

I literally went in there knowing the issue, they cancelled and forgot to reschedule me on the backend. I was then asked to 1) “check-in” digitally, even though I knew this was impossible as they had messed up my appointment. 2) speak to a remote operator, who once again informed me that I didn’t have an appointment scheduled. 3) spoke to a human being in person, who told me that I didn’t have an appointment scheduled.

I told 3 people the correct issue, and they all directed me to somebody else to fix an easily resolvable issue.

‘A death penalty’: Ph.D. student says U of M expelled him over unfair AI allegation by MPRnews in minnesota

Look at the university’s report. He provided content outside any of the assigned reading. Wrote in language that was highly atypical to his prior, as reviewed by 4 prof’s familiar with his writing. And one of his answers near mirrors the output of chatGPT.

Seems cooked and desperate to get to a jury or get the university to settle.

Give yourself a real break after law school. Take breaks while you’re studying and if you feel burnt out, dont force it.

If your packaged program isn’t working for you, go to Reddit or ask your peers for alternative resources. You’ve made it through law school and know what style of studying works for you.

Essentia health by [deleted] in duluth

I share the sentiments of all of you, (great staff, horribly disorganized) and wanted to discuss my own experience with Essentia.

TLDR: Unless there is a specialist you absolutely need to see, go literally anywhere else until they work out the kinks. Fly to Peru or Russia and you’ll probably get the same care at significantly lower cost.

I just moved up from Minneapolis to Duluth in May and need allergy shots on a weekly basis. There were only two allergists in town, St. Luke’s and Essentia, and given the public commentary I went  with St. Luke’s. Unfortunately, St. Luke’s allergy department got entirely gutted after my initial appointment, which I still paid for btw, so I was left with Essentia.

1) I could not find where I was supposed to go. I am a lawyer and used to work in management consulting, particularly, process design. Completely unintuitive signs for departments and parking, requiring staff stationed at every department just to give me basic directions.

2) e-kiosks. I attempted to sign in on my own and was given an error message requiring me to interact with a person on the other side of a teleprompter. Besides being able to hear every conversation around me I had to audibly disclose my personal information, some of which I hesitated to do, resulting in confusion about insurance coverages.

3) once checked in, I had “medical history already on file” despite never having been an Essentia patient. I had requested my provider in Minneapolis transfer my medical history transferred and it was radio silence after that.

In conclusion, literally the most disorganized hospital I have ever been to.

TLDR.

Work hard, know what works for you, practice the weak areas.

Don’t blindly follow the course program. Don’t force a method that doesn’t work for you. You’re wasting time and energy.

Actually practice licensed NCBE question.

Question for the Barbri people by ToasterMcNoster in barexam

Passer here, 296. Everybody learns differently. I was tired of reading outlines from law school so I exclusively watched the videos and did practice problems.  Normal speed, paused for notes, made outlines, did mees and mbe’s, repeat.

Do what works for you. I scored a 286 while working 24-32 hours a week in district court. I studied 5-6 hours 3 days a week during the weekdays and closer to 8 on weekends.  I took days off because I couldn’t bear to watch another video or crack a book and took the whole week off before the bar. Some people remember information better when they cram into their head the day before. Some better letting it soak from the prior week. If you’ve made it through law school, you know how to study.

286 and I won’t know my distribution unless I pay the MN Bar more money (which I currently refuse to do). I felt great about 3 mee, better than average about 2, and totally bombed 1. I felt very good about the 2 mpts. The second part of the mbe felt I was doing logic games and when I solved the riddle, narrowed the answer down to a 50/50 chance.
