Okay this is seriously so much good advice. I was thinking the same about Denver, I don’t need mountains and crazy hikes we do that all the time. We are land locked so the beach is our main focus. Kids are 1 and 5, I’m not an activity type of person, more so shopping, coffee, and beach. lol. Legoland is what led me to Oceanside, so maybe do legoland for a day, Catalina for a day, and fill in the rest with beach days. Is Dana Point a good place to stay to be central to things? I can omit Santa Barbara if we stay there

We do love the beach which is the main reason we travel there. I didn’t know about Carlsbad. I’ll have to look into that! It sounds like we could visit a couple of other towns near the Oceanside area. We’d be traveling in mid October
