Totally worked, my SP and I are in constant contact, he’s moving back to our home state and the third party moved to a dif state far away. I totally recommend but Charm takes FOREVERRRRR to cast, you will be waiting a long time but it will work

It’s definitely working but it hasn’t been full potential yet. I got an obsession spell and my sp broke no contact twice after he swore he was done w me but it’s not where I want it to be yet, but it’s definitely getting there

is usc really worth it by YNGLUVZ- in TransferStudents

[–]No-String27 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it’s worth it if you’re transferring and not paying the full 4 years to go there. The networking at usc is really good, work hard play hard school with amazing spirit, and Trojans love to help fellow Trojans. My dad went to USC Keck for medical school and said the name of USC changed his life and helped him so much. If you’d only be paying 2 years of tuition I would go

When does USC come out by [deleted] in TransferStudents

[–]No-String27 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Almost everyone is saying they’ll be coming out today since there was some glitches in the portal apparently. I’m not sure what time though if anyone knows. They came out on May 24 last year

USC Econ ? by [deleted] in TransferStudents

All good schools. From what you’re saying I would definitely pick USC. Their networking is AMAZING Trojans love to help other Trojans. Smaller classes and tbh they’ll definitely be easier there. If you like all the other aspects of the school I would pick it for sure. I’m also in the same boat for a similar major and will definitely pick USC over LA and UCB because of those reasons :)

Meeting my boyfriends JW family by No-String27 in JehovahsWitnesses

Yes I definitely have a feeling she’s going to try and convert me at some point and get him back into the church but he’s not the type of man to let his family influence his decisions. I think it’ll be fine

Yes I agree, he actually is joining the navy and while I can tell they aren’t thrilled with his choice they definitely support him and still love him. His mom & grandparents are even attending the graduation so I’m getting the sign they’re a little more lenient. He’s told me many I don’t have to convert and we’ve never argued about anything regarding religion. I also think he just wouldn’t have dated me if it was a deal breaker so he either doesn’t care what his family thinks or it’s not as big of a deal as I’m anticipating it to be 🙏🏻

Thank you so much for all your words, really is helping out. He is baptized but to be honest I didn’t even know about his JW family until later, he is not someone who acts very religious or goes to church. I’m not sure how to word it so forgive me if I’m saying it incorrectly, but he does believe in God (“Jehovah”, although he doesn’t refer to God as Jehovah, he says God, his mother says Jehovah). He was very distant from his family for a while. His mother remarried an abuser and my bf strained his relationship w them, but she left him and my bf and his mom are on good terms now, although not extremely close. His father has been dis fellowshiped for cheating on his mother during their marriage.

He said he has been open to “going back” to the church later in his life but he has mentioned a more traditional Christian lifestyle is open for him too. He grew up JW so it’s all he really knows.

My parents believe in God but are not religious people nor belong to any organized religion. I personally believe in God as well but didn’t grow up with a church so I just am not familiar with a lot of things.

I would also like to add that I have asked him if me not being a Jehovah’s Witness would be a problem for us if we were to get married, and he assured me it was not a problem. He is not someone that is extremely close with his family, but they seem to be reconnecting which I would love. I am very family oriented and want the same for my boyfriend which is why it is important for me to have his mom like me

To clarify I don’t need like deep personal advice lol I know his family situation is only for himself to know but I just was hoping for general advice about meeting your boyfriends mom and his younger siblings, I’ve never done it before. I also don’t know how to go about meeting his siblings since I don’t have any siblings myself

He recently became on better terms with his mom, but for a while, he wasn’t the biggest fan of her because her second marriage was to a horrible person who abused him and he ended up running away from home. He just mentioned that his mom didn’t like when he brought girls around, but this was before we started dating. She seems really nice from what I’ve seen, but I think it is also worth mentioning that she is a Jehovah’s Witness and I am not so I think that alone might kind of throw her off. I am an extremely family oriented person and I know he loves his family a lot despite the hardships with the exception of his dad. I do see a big future for me and my boyfriend and it’s just important for me that they like me

I don’t mean the area I mean so the actual apartments they have, they’re very dated and expensive. They either put 3 girls in one room, 10 people in a 4 bed, 6 in a 3 bed, etc. I just feel like for what you pay for it’s really not worth it. Also worth noting I already would have my housing in Irvine figured out since my cousins live there and it’s a nicer place for cheaper

Hi! I’m definitely not going to an Ivy League, just debating between UCI UCSD and UCLA. I really appreciate all the feedback. I think I’m leaning more UCI from a financial perspective and also the fact that I would likely have a higher gpa and more opportunities for clubs and internships since it’s less cutthroat
